Generalized Analysis On Clinical Characteristics Of AIDS Casese In The Center Of AIDS Control In Yunnan Province

Yunnan is one the most serious epidemic area of AIDS in our country. Because of thepopulation who infected HIV enter the period of symptoms, the AIDS cases and death caseswere increased rapidly. The local clinical work are facing a serious burden. On the basic ofthe regular work, this study analyzed the clinical characteristics of AIDS casese in theCenter of AIDS Control in Yunnan Province from2004to2010. The research works andthe results are useful to clinician and experts.The correlation findings are as follows:1.40cases of AIDS with encephalitis (infected new cryptococcus) all have thesymptoms. Male22, femal18,35.70±9.74years old (8-65years). The route of transmitionof HIV are sexal behaviour(26), intravenous drug use(9), maternal infant transmission(1)and unclear way(4). The major symptoms were fever and headache and23cases haveopportunity infection. The cerebrospinal fluid pressure of all cases were over about300cmH2O andthe CD4cell were57.38±55.813/μl.2. All of40cases of AIDS with encephalitis have used the fluconazole andamphotericin B by intravenous. The starts dose of amphoteric B was1mg/d, than graduallyincrease the amount to2.5-3g/d. The fluconazole’s dose was400mg/d. At the same time,cerebrospinal fluid drainage was used in the treatment.24cases were cured(85%). TheClinical symptoms disappeared time was38.03±24.27days. The pathogenic negativeconversion time was48.18±31.90days.6cases were death(15%).3. Among the1034AIDS patients receiving antiviral treatment, Male676, femal358,39.30±10.12years old. The route of transmition of HIV are sexal behaviour(711),intravenous drug use(310) and unclear way(13). The CD4cell were153.15±109.35/μl.4. Among the1043cases of AIDS, the Efavirenz have been used by486patients andNevirapine have been used by548patients. During the time of treatment, the allergy ratesof Efavirenz and Nevirapine were9.26%and9.84%（p>0.05） respectively. The allergy happened times of Efavirenz and Nevirapine were13.20±3.15d and18.83±6.68d（p<0.01）respectively.5. Among the51AIDS patients receiving integrated treatment of Chinese medicineand western medicine, Male32, femal19,26-72years old. The route of transmition of HIVare sexal behaviour(24), intravenous drug use(19) and unclear way(8). The CD4cellwere100.25±16.38个/μl. The AIDS patients have different clinical symptoms andopportunistic infection.6. Except receiving antiviral treatment, and according to national stantard andindividualized treatment based on syndrome differentiation,51cases of AIDS have beenused the prescription of treatment of Chinese medicine (TCM). The main ingredient of theTCM were Renseng, Maidong, Wuweizi, Huangqi, Baisu, Fulinn, Gegeng, and so on. Thetotal efficiency was about96.1%.
