Clinical Study Of Complex Prescription Of Matrine Soup On Preventing And Treating Postoperative Complications Of The Hemorrhoids

Objective:To observe the efficacy of sitz bath with complex prescription of Matrine soup in alleviating postoperative complications and promoting wound healing.Methods:70patients from Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine who met the criteria were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group. There were35patients in treatment group and35patients in control group. There was no difference between the two groups which used the same surgical and basic treatment in basic situation and disease situation before medication. Treatment group receiving sitz bath with Complex prescription of matrine soup for daily medication from the second day after operation. The control group receiving sitz bath with0.5%PVP-I. Observed the situation of anal pain, anal margin of edema and anal pendant expansion, made assessments on the2nd, third,5th and7th day and gave the overall evaluation of the two groups. Observed until the wounds healed completely and record the time. All data were analyzed with SPSS17.0statistical software.Results:The treatment group was superior to control group in alleviating anal pain on the third,5th and7th day,alleviating anal pendant expansion on the2nd,third,5th and7th day, and alleviating anal margin of edema on the third,5th and7th day; there was no difference between the two groups in alleviating on the2nd in alleviating the anal pain and anal margin of edema. the overall evaluation of Treatment group was superior to control group. there were25recovery,5significant effects,3effects,2invalid and was94.3%total effective rate in treatment group; yet there were13recovery,9significant effects,7effects,6invalid and was83.9%total effective rate in control group. Obvious difference between the two groups on the wound healing time was significant (P<0.05).The healing time of treatment group was shorter than the comparison group:the treatment group were17.14±2.22days, yet the comparison group were19.26±2.76days (P<0.01).Conclusion:Sitz bath with Complex prescription of matrine soup is effective in alleviating postoperative complications of anal pain, anal margin of edema and anal pendant expansion than0.5%PVP-I,and can shorten the wound healing time. It is safe and effective.
