| Objective:The aims of this study are:1) To know the current situation of content of U-Cd and renal indexes(U-NAG,U-β2-M) in the population of non-cadmium polluted area in the city of BiJie, GuiZhou Province;2) recommend the reference range of those indicators and explore the relationship of indexes;3) analyse and evaluate the practical value of these indexes as the indicators for renal damage induced by cadmium. Methods:Field survey and laboratory detection were used in this study.According to the local registration list of1-75-year-old population, a total number of900were sampled in the field survey; their urine samples were collected after filling their basic information. U-Cd, U-NAG,U-β2-M,U-RBP and U-Cre were assayed in the laboratory. Datas were analysed by age group and gender to observe the differences of indicators among the population of non-cadmium polluted area. The midian and95percentile of the data were used for statistical description, the rank test and rank correlation were used for statistical comparision and consequence.Results1) The results of the investigation suggest that indicators distribution exist differences among the age groups, the U-Cd reference value of adults and children is higher than the elderly, the reference value of U-NAG and U-β2-M of the elderly and children are higher than adults, so we recommend the reference value of those indicators be expressed by age. Our study list the content of U-Cd,U-NAG,U-β2-M respectively by four age groups. Results are as follows:U-Cd,U-NAG,U-P2-M of the age group less than15years old is13.19μg/gCre,28.53U/gCre,1188.12μg/gCre respectively; U-Cd,U-NAG,U-β2-M of15~age group is6.53μg/gCre,17.5U/gCre,525.36μ g/gCre respectively; U-Cd,U-NAG,U-β2-M of25-age group is10.10μg/gCre,20U/gCre,605.08μg/gCre respectively; U-Cd,U-NAG,U-β2-M of45~age group is6.54μg/gCre,30.98U/gCre,1813.06μg/gCre respectively.2) In the non-cadmium polluted area, U-Cd distribution of15~25~and65~age groups and U-NAG distribution of25~age group have statistical significance between genders(P<0.05), while the U-β2-M has no statistical significance between genders.3) In the non-cadmium polluted area, the proportion with U-Cd exceeding5μg/gCre is23.7%. The abnormal rate with U-Cd exceedingl5μg/gCre is1.9%, the abnormal rate with U-NAG exceeding17U/gCre is20.7%, the abnormal rate with U-β2-M exceeding1000μg/gCre is7.7%. The joint abnormal rates of any two or all the three indexes are lower.4) The results of correlation analysis show:the correlation coefficient between any two above indexes are not high, but they all have statistical significance(P<0.05). Multiple regression analysis shows:the regression coefficients between U-NAG and age,U-Cd,U-β2-M are all have statistical significance(P<0.05), among that the standardized partial regression coefficient of U-Cd is the biggest(0.7581). the regression analysis between U-β2-M and other indexes shows only the coefficient of U-β2-M has statistical significance(P<0.05), the standardized partial regression coefficient is0.2528.Conclusion:1) Different age groups of the non-cadmium polluted area population have different reference ranges on the urine indexes. The results of this study show the children have higher values than other groups which suggests us to do further surveys about the population less than15-year-old.2) In addition to U-Cd, the levels of U-NAG and U-β2-M have no significant differences between genders.3) There were the correlations among those urine indexes which should be verified by more investigations of the population in other non-cadmium polluted area.4) As the environmental pollution increasing and transient population adding and different diet and life style, the levels of those indexes are changing and high value of those indicators exist in each age group of the populations in non-cadmium polluted area which suggests that kidney damage should be diagnosed by one index combined with the others accurately. |
