Clinical Observation On The Active Rheumatoid Arthritis TCM Treatment Based On Combination Of Disease And Symptom

Objective:this clinical study preliminarily evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of treatment of traditional Chinese medicine by observing the curative effect and security index changes before and after treatment in patients with active rheumatoid arthritis and comparing the differences of curative effect and safety between the two groups before and after treatment.Methods:This study selected65patients with active rheumatoid arthritis. Gave the patients a syndrome differentiation type, then divided them randomly into treatment group and control group according to2:1ratio. The treatment group used a treatment plan which combined western medicine and prescriptions that combined disease and syndrome.the control group used a treatment plan that only western medicine. After2months of treatment, observe indexes of the two groups after treatment, such as curative effect of rheumatoid arthritis, Chinese medicine symptom curative effect, overall assessment indicators, laboratory index and safety index, etc.Results:Clinical observation showed that after2months of treatment, Two groups has no significant differences among curative effect on rheumatoid arthritis, TCM syndrome curative effect, main symptoms and signs, condition overall evaluation, laboratory index, joint function classification, and X-ray stage (P>0.05). Two groups has no significant differences in the improvement of the main symptoms of TCM symptoms (P>0.05),but had significant differences in the TCM symptom integral and secondary symptoms’improvement (P<0.05). The patient on the tolerability of traditional Chinese medicine group is superior to western medicine group during the treatment process. Conclusion:Two groups had good effect in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, but the treatment group is superior than control group in the improvement of the secondary symptoms and the occurrence of adverse reactions.That indicates that the treatment with thinking combined disease and symptom is more in line with the human-oriented idea. It makes the treatment more reasonable.
