Objective: To discuss the advantage of Minimally invasive locking proximal humerusplate internal fixation for the treatment of fractures of the proximal humerus ThroughComparative efficacy of internal fixation with Minimally invasive locking proximalhumerus plate and Open reduction and internal fixation. Methods: In this study,39cases ofpatients with the proximal humerus fractures were chose from shouguang Hospital of TCMorthopedics ward from February2010to February2012in line with the standard of thisstudy,39cases were divided into the Open reduction and internal fixation group (21cases)and internal fixation with Minimally invasive locking proximal humerus plate group (18cases), through chart review and postoperative follow-up, compared two groups in age, preoperative Neer classification, the main incidence of preoperative, operative time, bloodloss, hospitalization time, internal fixation or prosthetic loosening (failure) rate, Constantscore of1month and six month after operation.Result: internal fixation with Minimallyinvasive locking proximal humerus plate group group earlier than Open reduction andinternal fixation group in operative time and hospitalization time, can significantly reducethe blood loss, Constant score of1month after operation in the number is superior to Openreduction and internal fixation group, Constant score of six month after operation in thenumber and the excellent rate is non-discrimination with the internal fixationgroup. Conclusion: internal fixation with Minimally invasive locking proximal humerusplate can significantly reduce operative time and hospitalization time, Short-termrestored to pre-injury level in Shoulder joint. So internal fixation with Minimally invasivelocking proximal humerus plate is the reasonable choice in treatment of the proximalhumerus fractures. |
