Object: Primary liver lies the second. In recent quickly, the survival time cancer is one of thecommon malignant tumor. It’s mortality years, because the means of treating liver cancer aredeveloping of patients have extended and the mortality have improved. To evaluate thesurvival rate and prognostic factors of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) foradvanced primary liver cancer (PLC). We can understand which are risk factors or protectivefactors of primary liver cancer, and provide an objective basis for interventional therapy. Methods: select180cases of primary liver cancer patients who treated withinterventional therapy in our college province from January2006to December2012. Allpatients fit the clinical diagnosis standard of liver cancer which is established by China liverprofessional committee in2009.All the data we collected was saved with Epidata andanalyzed with SPSS17.0software. We describe the general situation of PLC patients, thenestimate the survival rate and explore prognostic factors. Use a survival analysis to analyzeprognostic factors. We use a Kaplan-Meier method to estimate survival rate, log-rank test tocompare survival curves between groups, Cox regression model to analysis influence factorsof survival rate.Results:The1,2,3,4and5-year survival rates were77.78%、53.89%、25.49%、9.55%and6.53%,respectively. Univariate analysis revealed that portal vein tumor thrombus, tissuenecrosis, tumor gross type, the number of treatment were major factors affecting thesurvival. The result of Cox regression shows that factors affect the prognosis of patientsare:portal vein tumor thrombus, tumor gross type, the number of treatment. The survival rateof patients who has portal vein tumor thrombus, while who has nodular hepatocellularcarcinoma、repeated treatment、hyperthermia lipiodol is higher. Conclusion: Transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) is effective and safe to livercancer patients who don’t fit an operation. The result of Cox regression shows that factorsaffect the prognosis of patients are:portal vein tumor thrombus, tumor gross type, the numberof treatment. The survival rate of patients who has portal vein tumor thrombus, while who hasnodular hepatocellular carcinoma, repeated treatment, hyperthermia Lipiodol is higher.
