Comparisons Of Transcatheter Arterial Chemoembolization (Tace) And Microwave Ablation(Mwa) On Immunologic Function In Patients With Advanced Primary Liver Cancer

OBJECTIVE To compare transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE)and microwace ablation(MWA) on the immunologic function of patients with advanced primary liver cancer (PLC).METHODS A total of 116 cases of advanced PLC were divided into the MWA group(40 patients treated only with MWA) and TACE group (76 patients treated only with TACE).The cellular immunity (CD3+,CD4+, CD4+/CD8+, CD8+,NK cell,CD19+) and the humoral immunity (IgG, Ig M, IgA, C3,C4) in peripheral blood of PLC patients were measured at 2 days before operation and 3 days after operation.RESULT In the MWA group, the percentages of CD3+,CD4+and CD56+were increased after treatments (P>0.05). The percentages of CD8+,CD19+ and the rations of IgG, IgM, IgA, C3 and C4 were decreased after treatments (P>0.05),while the proportion of CD4+/CD8+ significantly increased (P<0.05).In the TACE group, the percentages of CD3+,CD8+ were significantly increased(P<0.05),while the percentages of CD4+, CD4+/CD8+ CD56+and the rations of IgG, IgM, IgA, C3 and C4 were significantly decreased (P<0.05). The percentage of CD19+ was decreased after treatment (P>0.05).CONCULSION TACE can restrain immunologic function, while the treatment of MWA can improve the immunological status in PLC patients in a short-term after operation.
