The Investigation Of Superficial Mycosis From Fungal Culturing In Qilu Hospital In The Past Decade

Objective In order to understand the distribution of superficial mycosis and changes in different times, this research is dedicating to analyze the variation trend of pathogenic fungi by collecting and summarizing the data of culturing fungal in the past decade (2004-2013) in the fungi laboratory of dermatology department in Qilu Hospital,Shangdong University. This researching would be helpful in clinical diagnosis and treatment in superficial mycosis in future.Methods Analyze the pathogenic species and the variation trend of superficial mycosis in the past decade by collecting and summarizing the data from fungal culturing in the fungi laboratory from2003to2014, this survey has adopted retrospective system to analyze all perspectives of521clinical isolated fungi pathogens and patients separately, such as patients’ ages, genders, diseases,infection sites, and the species of pathogens. Finally, analyze the results by using SPSS19.0statistical software.Results There are521cases of superficial mycosis including tinea pedis, tinea corporis, tinea cruris, onychomycosis, tinea capitis, Candida balanitis, oral candidiasis, vaginal candidiasis. The age of superficial mycosis is mainly around 20-59years old, accounting for86.56%. The first two ranks of superficial mycosis are tinea pedis, tinea cruris. The top two pathogenic fungicide are Trichophyton rubrum and Candida albican.The main pathogens of tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis, onychomycosis is Trichophyton rubrum.Conclusions Superficial mycosis are mainly tinea cruris and tinea pedis. The pathogenic fungicide are mainly Trichophyton rubrum.
