Bushen Huoxue Decoction Combined VAD Regimen And Simple VAD Regimen For Multiple Myeloma Kidney Deficiency Blood Stasis

Objective:By comparing the Bushen Huoxue Decoction combined VAD regimen and total effective rate of multiple myeloma, simple VAD regimen for TCM syndrome curative effect, myeloma cell proportion, Comparison of osteoclast count and osteoblast count,M protein change, kidney function and the change of blood calcium, cartesian grading the quality of life and adverse reaction. To explore the clinical value of combination of traditional Chinese medicine on the treatment of multiple myeloma, in order to choose the ideal treatment for multiple myeloma patients.Methods:Between January2013and February2015, our hospital blood oncology first make a diagnosis and give treatment of40patients with multiple myeloma were randomly divided into treatment group (20cases) and western medicine group (20cases), the treatment group use Bushen Huoxue Decoction combined VAD regimen.The control group were treated by VAD solution treatment,4weeks for a period of treatment, after3course of short-term curative effect evaluation. Comparing the total effective rate, the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome curative effect, myeloma cell proportion, the change of M protein, renal function and the change of blood calcium, Karnofsky (KPS) immune biochemical indicators, quality of life score, a comparative study of side effects.ResultsiTwo groups of patients with the total effective rate was75%,60%, two groups was statistically significant (p<0.05), the treatment group total effective rate is high to the control group. Two groups of patients with symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine, the plasma cells in the bone marrow, renal function, blood calcium, ratio of M protein were significantly lower, with significant difference before and after treatment (p<0.05), there was significant difference between the two groups after treatment (p<0.05). The two groups after treatment significantly increased hemoglobin (p<0.05), the two groups after treatment was statistically significant (p<0.05). The number of osteoclasts in the treatment group and the number of osteoblasts before and after treatment were statistically significant (p<0.05).Two groups of immune biochemical indicators before and after treatment was significantly lower, the difference was statistically significant (p＜0.01), after treatment in two groups were not statistically significant (p>0.05). The quality of life of the two groups after the treatment of KPS score was statistically significantly different (p<0.01).Differences of side effects after treatment in the two groups was significant, with statistical significance (p<0.01).Conclusion:Bushen Huoxue Decoction can enhance the immune function in patients with multiple myeloma, alleviate the adverse reaction of chemotherapy, the successful completion of chemotherapy, improve the patient’s quality of life, reflects the traditional Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy in treatment of multiple myeloma, worthy of clinical application.
