| Objective Based on tissue section of osseous arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, to implement comparative studies for bone microstructure morphology, bone quality and the degree of bone cement bonding. Methods To gather the femoral condyle tissue samples from25patients (50condyle) with osteoarthritis and25patients (50condyle) with rheumatoid arthritis, and all the patients were accepted total knee arthroplasty in department of orthopaedics of nanjing general hospital of nanjing military command. In group A,20cancellous bone specimen from the osteoarthritis patients were chipped20mm×15mmx7mm.In group B,20cancellous bone specimen from the rheumatoid arthritis patients were also chipped20mmx15mmx7mm.The cancellous bone quality from group A and group B were measured by Micro-CT. In group C,20bone specimen from the osteoarthritis patients were chipped20mmx15mmx7mm.In group B,20cancellous bone specimen from the rheumatoid arthritis patients were also chipped20mm×15mmx7mm.The cancellous bone quality from group A and group B were measured by Micro-CT.20bone specimen from20patients with osteoarthritis was divided into group C.20bone specimen from20patients with rheumatoid arthritis was divided into group D. The two groups of specimens with cortical bone were chipped10mm x40mm in coronary cross section and were measured by biological mechanics performance.10specimen of femoral condyle were selected respectively from patients with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, established bone cement-bone interface model by the self-made bone cement pressure device, and analyzed by Micro-CT.Results Micro-CT measurement results showed that BV/TV, Tb. Th, Tb. N were significantly higher, BS/BV, SMI, Tb. Sp, DA were significantly lower in the group A than in the group B(p<0.05). The combination and penetration of bone cement interface was better in group F than in group E. The largest experimental force was significantly higher in the group C than in the group D(t=27.20, P <0.05). Conclusion The bone quality of Osteoarthritis patients is better than that of rheumatoid arthritis patients, however the combination and penetration of bone cement interface of rheumatoid arthritis patients is better than that of osteoarthritis patients, which can help us have better understanding of the follow-up study for knee prosthesis. |
