Expression And Clinical Significance Of Serum MicroRNA-423-5p In Heart Failure Due To Valvular Heart Disease Patients

Objectives To study the expression of micro RNA-423-5p(mi RNA-423-5p) in serum of patients with heart failure due to valvular heart disease(VHD) and healthy controls and to evaluated the association between mi RNA-423-5p and clinical parameters of valvular heart disease. To explore the value of serum mi RNA-423-5p in VHD heart failure.Methods Sera were collected from 45 cases of VHD heart failure patients and 42 healthy controls.The detailed clinical data of research objects were collected.After extracted the total RNA in the serum samples,expression level of mi RNA-423-5p were determined by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(q RT- PCR),and to evaluate the relationship between mi RNA-423-5p and clinical parameters.Result: 1 The relative expression levels of mi RNA-423-5p were 1.03±1.86 and0.14±0.16(P<0.05) in the sera of VHD patients and normal controls.Compared with normal controls,Mi R-423-5p expression level was significant different in VHD patients.ROC curve exhibits,AUC value of Serum mi RNA-423-5p for the diagnosis of VHD heart failure is 0.912,P<0.001.2 Concerning VHD patients,The correlation coefficients with the age, sex, creatinine,weight,left atrial diameter, Left ventricular end-diastolic diameter,left ventricular ejection fraction, log NT-pro BNP, pulmonary artery pressure and New York Heart Association functional class(NYHA) of VHD patients were( R1=0.142 and P1=0.184,R2=0.204 and P2=0.102,R3=-0.099 and P3=0.378,R4=0.215 and P4=0.095,R5=0.05 and P5= 0.64, R6=0.448 and P6=0.004,R7=-0.32 and P7=0.763,R8=0.072 and P8=0.85, R9= 0.566 and P9=0.001,R10=0.44 å'Œ P10=0.006), respectively.3 For VHD patients, the relative expression levels of serum mi RNA-423-5p of pulmonary hypertension patients(1.18 ± 1.76) was highly increased compared with without pulmonary hypertension group(0.19 ± 0.17),The difference was statistically significant(P=0.004).Conclusion:1 Serum mi RNA-423-5p have a good correlation with heart function of heart failure due to valvular heart disease;2 Serum mi RNA-423-5p highly expressed in heart failure with valvular heart disease,and associationed with important clinical parameter.
