Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To evaluate the differences of Brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)values and cTnT levels in chronic heart failure of different etiologies. And to analyze the correlation between BNP and cTnT.Method:Collected 297 patients who are all level Ⅳ according to NYHA with the different causes of chronic heart failure, who were divided into five subgroups, including the group of coronary atherosclerotic heart disease of 61 cases, the group of dilated cardiomyopathy of 74 cases, the group of hypertensive heart disease of 45 cases, the group of rheumatic valvular heart disease of 63 cases and the group of cor pulmonale of 54 cases.BNP values and cTnT levels were recorded before treatment.Analyze the difference of BNP values and the level of cTnT between each group respectively and whether there is a correlation between the BNP values and the level of cTnT.Result:There is significant difference of BNP values among five groups(P<0.05);Among them, the level of BNP in the group of dilated cardiomyopathy was the highest, followed by hypertensive heart disease group, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease group, rheumatic valvular heart disease group, and the lowest in cor pulmonale group.Dilated cardiomyopathy group, hypertensive heart disease group, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease group was higher than that of pulmonary heart disease group(P < 0.05),There was no significant difference between the two groups in the group of rheumatic heart disease and the group of cor pulmonale(P > 0.05);dilated cardiomyopathy group was higher than that of rheumatic heart disease group(P < 0.05);no significant difference was found between the hypertensive heart disease group, coronary heart disease group and rheumatic heart disease group(P > 0.05);dilated cardiomyopathy group, hypertensive heart disease group, coronary heart disease group between the two groups had no significant difference(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in plasma cTnT in patients with different chronic heart failure(P>0.05).In the group of dilated cardiomyopathy(r=0.322,P<0.05),coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(r=0.253,P<0.05)and rheumatic valvular heart disease(r=0.290,P < 0.05)there is positive correlation between BNP and cTnT.There is no correlation between BNP and cTnT in the group of hypertensive heart disease and pulmonary heart disease(P>0.05).Conclusion:The levels of plasma BNP in patients with different chronic heart failure among five groups are not all the same, while the levels of plasma cTnT are the same. There is positive correlation between BNP and cTnT in the group of dilated cardiomyopathy, coronary atherosclerotic heart disease and rheumatic valvular heart disease, but no correlation was found in groups of hypertensive heart disease and cor pulmonale...
