Object:To analyse the clinical efficacy of osteoking in rib fracture treatment.Methods:The study chose up 92 cases with ribfratures under the preset criterion in a period of 2012.9-2014.12.which are from the Emergency Traumn Department of The First Affiliated Hospital of jamming medical university. A treated(intervention) group was set which recieved a treatment of Osteoking and the contract group which is not.Under the principle of prospect.Compare the VAS, SPO2,SaO2,Ca2+,Pi3+ and AKP activity of both groups in day1,d2,d3,d7,d12 after being hospitalized.Compare the incidence of pulmonary atelectasis、pneumonia、 ARDS and a delay of facture healing. Compare the period of hospitalization、 and Tam HSS Quality of life.Result:All 92 cases had completed the study according to the design. 1.the VAS scores in both group in specific period after admittion are compared at the status of rest or cough.Both scores presented a tendency to decrease,and a more obvions trend in treated group.The VAS scores of both group at admittion time and day1 after admintion shows no significant difference whether in rest or cough(p>0.05).The scores of treated group are significantly lower than the untreated (contrast) group in day2、day3、day7、and day 12 after being hospitalized.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)2.The difference of PaO2 and SaO2 of both groups had no statistical significance when being hospitalized(p>0.05). PaO2 and SaO2 in both groups presented a trendency to increase in dayl,day2,day7,day12 after being hospitalized;and the values of treated group were significantly higer than contrast group.The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05)3.There were no differences of the Ca2+、Pi3+、 concentrate as well as AKP activity in both group in day1 after being hospitalized(p>0.05);the same value in treated group were higher than contrast in day3 day7 day 12 obviously,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)4.Stay-in-Hospital period were(14.28±.41)days and fracture healing period were (8.18±0.94) weeks in treated group as the period were (21.37±3.74) days and (12.57±1.46) weeks in contract group.Both stay-in-Hospital period and fracture healing period were shorten in treated group than contract group.The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05)5.One pulmonary atelectasis case and one pneumonia case existed in treated group, without which a case of death.3 pulmonary atelectasis cases,8 pneumonia cases,3 fracture-delayed-union cases presented in all 46 in contrast group without which ARDS or death cases. All the patients were followed up and there were no complains about any discomfort. The incident of complications in contrast group was distinctly higher man treated group and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01)6.The SF-36 and TCM-HSS life quality scores presented no statistically differences when being hospitalized (P>0.05).The SF-36 and TCM-HSS scores of treated group were obviously higher than contrast group in all dimensions at day 12 after being hospitalized,and the differences shows statistically significant (P< 0.05)Conculusions:The Osteoking can relieve pain of patients with rib fractures,can accelerate fracture healing,and can reduce the incidence of the complications of rib fracture like:acelectasis,pneumonia, ARDS,and fracture-delayed -union;it can also improve the quality of the patient’s life.
