Objective: Through the observation of wheat moxibustion on the effects of myelosuppression tumor chemotherapy patients, comparing the treatment group and control group in hemogram(WBC, NEUT, PLT, HB) gastrointestinal reactions and the change of the indexes of quality of functional status, explore wheat moxibustion to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, for the wheat moxibustion therapy in clinical cancer chemotherapy provide clinical basis for the popularization and application.Method:60 cases included in the standard of tumor patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(30 cases in each), after eliminating loss cases, treatment group 27 cases, control group 29 cases. Two groups of patients with western medicine routine chemotherapy regimens, treatment group in the control group, on the basis of conventional chemotherapy regimens to wheat moxibustion the da-zhui acupuncture point, st 36 hole, corresponding back point, every hole every time a bit 7,1 times a day, treatment of six times a week, from patients with chemotherapy before 1 day, to the next chemotherapy for a period of treatment, treatment 3 period of treatment. Record before treatment, end 3 chemotherapy hemogram(WBC, NEUT, PLT, HB),gastrointestinal reactions and the change of the indexes of functional status, comparing the difference between the two groups before and after treatment.Result: 1.Myelosuppression: WBC and NEUT: Overall treatment group did not change significantly after the third chemotherapy (P>0.05), are maintained in the normal range, the first decline after the end of chemotherapy, but rebounded after the end of chemotherapy 2nd, 3rd after the chemotherapy is not only normal WBC, which had been higher than before chemotherapy, compared with chemotherapy after the first statistically significant (P<0.05). After chemotherapy, the overall control was sustained decrease in WBC after chemotherapy 2,3 times compared with the previous chemotherapy, were statistically significant (P<0.05), NEUT after the third chemotherapy significantly lower than chemotherapy before, there was a significant statistical significance (P<0.01). Between the two groups, the treatment group and the control group after the first chemotherapy WBC and NEUT showed a downward trend over the same period there was no significant difference (P>0.05),2,3 times after chemotherapy, the treatment group and the control group over the same period were statistically significant (P <0.05).HB:The treatment group after the first chemotherapy began to decline, lower than normal, increased significantly after the third chemotherapy, and 2 of comparisons was statistically significant after chemotherapy (P<0.05). After chemotherapy control group showed a slow persistent decline, but there is no statistically significant (P>0.05). Between the two groups, after the first chemotherapy treatment group, after the second chemotherapy, HB were lower than the control group (P<0.05), after the third chemotherapy treatment groups, although higher than the trend, but there is no statistically significance (P>0.05).PLT: The treatment group after chemotherapy despite the decline, but there is no statistically significant (P>0.05), after the control group decreased PLT chemotherapy before and after comparison was statistically significant (P<0.05); There were no significant between the two groups over the same period significance (P>0.05).2.Gastrointestinal reactions:The treatment group of appetite, nausea and vomiting were significantly lower than the control group, there was statistically significant (P<0.01), the incidence of diarrhea treatment group and the control group was statistically significant (P <0.05).3.Functional status: The treatment group was significantly higher compared with KPS scores before chemotherapy, there was a significant statistical significance (P<0.01), after the control group decreased significantly than before chemotherapy, chemotherapy, there was a significant statistical significance (P<0.01), chemotherapy treatment group patients with systemic functional status was significantly better than the control group, there was statistically significant (P<0.01).Conclusion:1. Wheat moxibustion can slow down the white blood cells, platelets decreased speed and magnitude, reducing chemotherapy on bone marrow suppression, protecting blood cells.2. Wheat moxibustion can reduce chemotherapy on gastrointestinal toxicity (nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, etc.), to reduce the pain.3.Wheat moxibustion can improve patients’ functional status of the body, improve quality of life.4. Wheat moxibustion therapy is safe and effective (study no adverse events).
