| Objective: By exploring the six-channel operation mode in Treatise on Febrile Disease, finding running rule of qi-flow and Yin and Yang in the body and the relationship between Ying, Wei and body fluid, to explore the universal law of occurrence and development of sjogren syndrome(SS) diseases and the inner connection of six-channel theory with it, in order to provide theoretical support for clinical six-channel differentiation of SS.Methods: The paper combined literature review and theoretical discussion and, on the basis of systematic review, explored answers through comprehensive analysis, induction and summery etc. logic methods.Results: It concluded that the qi-flow circulated as three-dimensional and spiral and the six-channel operation mode was characterized as three-dimensional and spiral. In addition, it summed up the general role of the Wei-fluid balance for qi, blood and fluid and, on the basis of the human body meridian, explored mechanism of sjogren syndrome with emphasis on the Wei-fluid and six-channel functions. And then the paper analyzed clinical syndrome differentiation characteristics of SS combined with the six-channel syndrome differentiation thoughts in Treatise on Febrile Diseases for SS.Conclusion:(1) Yin-Yang three-dimensional and spiral motion law conforms to vortex movement of nature, Yin-Yang circulation thoughts in Chinese tai ji diagram, from the root of tai chi, and also Yin-Yang and qi-flow circulation law in Internal Classic. And it explains such questions as “time to relieveâ€and “opening-closing pivot†to some extent.(2) The three-dimensional and spiral motion law interprets interrelation of Ying, Wei, fluid, essence and blood that it shows the significance of Wei-fluid balance in physical and pathological process, which can simplify disease analysis.(3) It analyzes the relationship between SS dryness essence with fluid deficiency and blood stasis that the dryness toxin is generated by combination of dry pathogens and hyperactive Wei-qi and the hyperactive Wei-qi always works in the interrelation between fluid deficiency and blood stasis in SS, which deepens interpretation of causes and mechanism of SS.(4) It is believed that the dryness always attacks Yangming firstly though mouth and nose and transmission is characterized as radial. Combined with Wei-fluid balance theory, the syndrome differentiation characteristics of SS are preliminarily explored with six-channel syndrome differentiation, laying the groundwork for clinical six-channel syndrome differentiation of SS. |
