The Clinical Study On Zengye Runzao Decoction For Treating The Primary Sj?gren’s Syndrome

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of Zengye Runzao Decoction and security so that providing clinical data support for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of Sj?gren’s syndrome. Method: Select 30 cases of patients included in the standard with primary Sj?gren’s syndrome, given one agent of Zengye Runzao Decoction per person per day for three months, two times one day;Before and after the treatment, determinate tear secretion and saliva flow, test blood sedimentation, IgG, blood、urine and feces routine, Check the liver and kidney function, ECG; Compile statistics using SPSS 19.0 with P 0.05 or less statistical significance, P 0.01 or less highly statistical significance, with double side inspection as hypothesis testing. Results: Before and after treatment by Zengye Runzao Decoction, 2 cases markedly effective, effective 23 cases, invalid 5 cases, the total effective rate was 83.33%.After treatment, the level of TCM syndromes score(P<0.01)、ESR(P<0.05)、IgG(P>0.05)is declining, the level of saliva flow analysis(P<0.01)、tear secretion analysis(P<0.01)is improving, the differences have statistical significance, except IgG; Before treatment, the level of WBC in 3 patients is low, that in another patient is high; After treatment, the level of WBC in all patients is normal. In the process of this test, ALT、AST、BUN、Cr、ECG,feces and urine routine are not abnormal, and no adverse reaction occur. Conclusion: Zengye Runzao Decoction can increase saliva flow and tear secretion, relieve symptoms of dry mouth and eye, have the effect that reduce ESR, but that needs further study with large sample. At the present stage, the experimental results show that Zengye Runzao Decoction cannot ruduce IgG. The test also indicates that Zengye Runzao Decoction has good clinical application security.
