Objective:To investigate the surgical waiting period acupressure combined clinical effects of music therapy to relieve anxiety before surgery. Methods:a hospital in January 2014 to August elective surgery, and meet the inclusion criteria of cases patients with a total 150 cases. Were randomly divided into three groups, namely the music group(music therapy), the massage group and combination group (massage with music therapy),50 cases in each group. On the basis of the pre-operative care routine, music group weared headphone music therapy from 15 to 20 minutes; the massage group had massage for 15 to 20 minutes; the combination group based on the massage with music therapy for 15 to 20 minutes. Anxiety scores using visual analogue scale, ECG, subjective satisfaction questionnaire on preoperative anxiety levels of three groups of patients before and after the intervention, blood pressure and heart rate were compared.Results:(1) General information:study selected was a hospital in January 2014 to August elective surgery, and meet the inclusion criteria of cases patients with a total 150 cases. Male 86, female 64 cases, respectively, accounted for 57.33% and 42.67% of the total number, the average age was 55.78±10.7 years. Three groups of patients in terms of gender, age, education, occupation, place of residence, payment of medical expenses, illness etc. Statistically, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05)comparable.(2) Overall anxiety from the patient prior to the intervention, the intervention of anxiety before surgery score was 5.70±1.45 points; among the group does not have a statistically significant difference (P>0.05); anxiety scores after intervention and the three groups showed significant improvement, with a difference (P<0.05); comparing the music group and the massage group after the intervention, no significant changes (P>0.05). Compare anxiety scores from the three groups of patients after the intervention, the anxiety score combination group was lower than the others, P<0.05, and better than the others, with a statistically significant difference, P<0.01.(3) From the anxiety level, the (pre-intervention) before the existence of the vast majority of surgical procedures in patients with anxiety, there is a moderate anxiety 45.3% of the patients, a total of 52% of the patients indicates the presence of severe and extreme anxiety among groups the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). After the intervention, severe anxiety and extreme anxiety experiment the proportion of patients in three groups fell down (P<0.05), and mild anxiety the combination group higher than the others(P<0.01), the difference between the music and massage was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Moderate anxiety the combination group lower than the others(P<0.01), the difference between the music and massage was not statistically significant(P>0.05). The combination group was better than the other groups(P<0.01).(4) The three groups before surgery intervention systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and heart rate, the difference is not statistically significant (P>0.05). After the intervention, the intervention groups fell down(P<0.05). Massage group blood pressure was lower than the music group (P<0.05). Combination group blood pressure was lower than the other groups(P<0.05). After intervention, experimental groups heart rate were lower than the intervention before(P<0.05), the massage heart rate was lower than the music(P<0.05). The combination group was lower than the others (P<0.01).(5) The patient’s subjective evaluation of interventions scores and scores of subjective feelings, the combination group scores were higher than the other groups, from the dimension of subjective feelings, promote relaxation, feel calm, relieve stress, reduce anxiety and reduce pain, combination group were better(P<0.05). The scores of satisfaction with their entry, the difference is not statistically significant (P>0.05)Conclusion:The acupressure with music combination therapy used in surgical patients, can effectively alleviate the waiting period before surgery preoperative anxiety levels, lower blood pressure and heart rate. And surgical patients for massage and music therapy evaluation of subjective feelings and satisfaction higher acceptance is good, with a promotional value.
