Objective:To observe the survival of patients after gastric medicine and the relationship of time to explore the influence of traditional Chinese medicine for gastric cancer patients survival time and recurrence and metastasis. Methods:The clinical data in patients undergoing radical by collecting 120 routine gastric phase Ⅱ-Ⅲ observed in medicine for gastric cancer patients survival impact of further study, the surgical approach, pathologic type, tumor size, lymph node status, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, TCM typing and taking medicine treatment on survival time. Depending on the patient, the evaluation of the relationship between patients taking traditional Chinese medicine and survival time, statistical methods for the chi-square test and Logistic regression analysis; survival analysis stratified by stages observed in patients with different clinical stages of taking the relationship between medicine and survival time; integrated all COX regression analysis method is the use of risk factors that may affect the survival time when the relationship between the evaluation of patients taking traditional Chinese medicine and survival time.Results:120 postoperative patients with gastric cancer patients,75 cases of men, women accounted for 45 cases; Age at 50~69 accounted for 65.9%,65.8% of men, the largest number, prompt happens in middle-aged people. So for 45 years later especially male patients with gastrointestinal symptoms, should pay attention to screening for gastric cancer. TCM type: stagnation recurrence rate compared with patients with the type of patients; and outcomes among different syndromes significant difference differences (P<0.05); between stomach Deficiency type and various other syndromes The survival time there was a significant difference (P<0.05). Taking the medicine and survival time relationship:patient continued taking the medicine, the median survival time was 53 months, the patient stopped taking medicine median survival time was 48 months, and will continue to take medication intermittently merged into one group, were seen as is taking the medicine group, the 5-year disease-free survival rate was 17.5; patients taking the medicine without a median survival time of 38 months, the 5-year disease-free survival rate of 6.7%. The statistics, there are three significant differences (P<0.05), that is, taking medicine and different ways of medication and disease-free survival time was statistically significant. Taking the medicine and TCM symptom relationship:the main symptoms and signs, the two groups of objects on epigastric pain, belching, acid reflux, chest swelling, nausea, mouth pain symptoms compared with no statistical significance (P> 0.05); In regard to loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, weight loss, fatigue symptoms then were statistically significant (P<0.05). Multivariate analysis on the survival time of:histological type, neoadjuvant chemotherapy and taking the medicine time these three factors and survival time is a significant correlation (P <0.05). Taking the medicine and overall survival in patients taking way statistically significant (P <0.05). Prognostic various syndromes significant difference between the difference (P<0.05). Conclusion:Long-term benefit of gastric patients taking the medicine prolong survival, inhibition of gastric cancer recurrence and metastasis.
