Purpose: Through retrospective analysis of the factors related to the prognosis and survival of patients with advanced gastric cancer, the influence of "reconstructing Zhong Qi" method on the survival and life function of patients was discussed.Material and method:Collection of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine hospital oncology in January 2017 to January 31,2019 ward and outpatient patients with advanced gastric cancer postoperative chemotherapy, according to whether oral "reconstructing Zhong Qi" of traditional Chinese medicine compound is more than three months into exposure group and no Chinese medicine exposure groups two queues.Through outpatient follow-up,admission review, telephone follow-up and other means,by use of Excel record gender, age, disease progression time, body mass,KPS,such as clinical data, using Microsoft Excel 2010 software finishing record the patient's basic data, using SPSS20.0 software for survival analysis.Results:1.A total of 62 patients were included, including 40 males and 22 females. There were 42 patients in the TCM exposure group and 20 patients in the no TCM exposure group. There were no significant differences in gender and age between the two groups.2.Univariate analysis suggested that body mass change, exposure to traditional Chinese medicine, recurrence or metastasis were the overall survival factors after postoperative chemotherapy for advanced gastric cancer, among which body mass change was an independent and protective factor with a relative risk of 0.16(95%CI: 0.050-0.511).Body mass changes and exposure to traditional Chinese medicine were the factors that affected the disease-free survival after chemotherapy for advanced gastric cancer.3.The median survival time of the group exposed to traditional Chinese medicine was 92 months, and that of the group exposed to no traditional Chinese medicine was 45 months.Log-rank test showed P<0.05,which was statistically significant. The median disease-freesurvival of the TCM exposure group was 84 months, and the median disease-free survival of the TCM exposure group was 48 months.Log-rank test showed P<0.05,which was statistically significant. It was suggested that exposure to traditional Chinese medicine could prolong the survival period after chemotherapy for advanced gastric cancer.4.The important role of exposure to traditional Chinese medicine lies in the "reconstructing Zhong Qi" and the change of body mass and KPS is stable or increased. Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine exposure is the influencing factors of advanced gastric cancer postoperative chemotherapy overall survival, its role is to "reconstructing Zhong Qi",body quality stable or increase is one of the results, and independent of advanced gastric cancer postoperative chemotherapy influence factors, application of "reconstructing Zhong Qi" can prolong survival, reduce the recurrence or metastasis and improve the function of life.
