Clinical Research Of Kui Jie Cataplasm Retention Enema For Ulcerative Colitis With Spleen Kidney Yang Deficiency Type

Objective: To Investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of KuiJie cataplasm retention enema in treating ulcerative colitis with spleen kidney Yang deficiency type.Methods: 60 cases of ulcerative colitis patients with spleen and kidney Yang deficiency type were divided into two groups by random number table:the treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. Experimental group was given the KuiJie cataplasm retention enema,each one in the morning and at night and 20 g each time. The control group was given XiLei powder retention enema,the same as experimental group.Both groups have a course for 30 days.After 2 courses of treatment,we compare the Mayo index,the traditional Chinese medicine symptom integral and total integral,Baron grade and adverse reaction,evaluate the clinical curative effect of two groups before and after treatment com-prehensively.Results: After 2 courses of treatment,the total effectiveness of experimental group is 86.67%,the control group is 76.67% accordingly,which differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).The traditional Chinese medicine symptom total integral of experimental group is 3.40 ± 1.35 and the control group is 5.63 ±1.47,which differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).The comparison with two groups’ traditional Chinese medicine syndrome curative effect is statistically significant(P<0.05),which the experimental group is 93.33% and the control group is 80.00%.The integration of diarrhea、stomachache、soreness of loins and extreme chilliness、god exhausted lazy speech is statistically significant(P<0.05),however the integration of abdominal distension and bloody purulent stool has no significant difference( P > 0.05).When it comes to the mucosal curative effect under colonoscopy,the total effective rate of experimental group is 90.00%,and the control group is 66.67%,which have significant difference(P>0.05).The experimental group does not appear obvious adverse reactions, although the control group has 2 adverse reactions,the differences are not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The clinical result of KuiJie cataplasm for the UC patients with spleen kidney Yang deficiency type is better than XiLei powder.2.KuiJie cataplasm retention enema can improve the clinical symptom of diarrhea、stomachache、soreness of loins and extreme chilliness、god exhausted lazy speech for the UC patients with spleen kidney Yang deficiency type,its curative effect is definite and lasting,and has no obvious side effect.3.Cataplasm retention enema is a method of retention enema which is different from enema liquid. The mobility of cataplasm is significantly slower than enema liquid when entering the intestinal,the retention time is longer,and can be better coating in lesions.So it can be better to play the colon slow absorption state,whose therapeutic effect is more durable.
