The Clinical Study Of The Treatment Of Spleen Dampness Decoction On Diarrhea-predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome(The Type Of Spleen Dampness )

Objective: By observing the clinical effect of spleen dampness decoction(spleen dampness type) to the treatment of diarrhea predominant irritable syndrome, therefore, to get comprehensive evaluations from the aspects the improvement of the accumulating points of TCM symptom, clinical safety as well as the incidence and recurrence rate of the adverse reactions, then to get the primary assessment of clinical therapeutic effectiveness, so that to provide experimental evidence for the treatment of diarrhea predominant irritable syndrome.Methods:The treatment group received treatment by the spleen dampness decoction provided by the second Luoyang Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in pharmacy and unified fried by the Institute of medicine decocting machine, one dose a day, morning and evening hours services; the control group received treatment by pinaverium bromide(Shute), 50 mg, 3 times a day, and can take it orally. Two groups were treated for 2 weeks. In order to compare the long term effect of two groups, afterwards each patient in two groups was questioned about past treatment for 3 months at the end of treatment. In order to compare the recurrence rate condition of two groups, afterwards each patient in two groups was observed and recorded about the treatment before and after 3 months in clinical symptoms, signs of change and other aspects.Results:Clinical observation showed: firstly, the study included 68 cases, fall off in 8 cases. There are 30 cases in the treatment group, while 30 cases in the control group after testing. The results of statistic analysis showed that the two groups before treatment have no obvious differences in age, gender, disease duration(P > 0.05), therefore, it is comparable; secondly, the comparison of 2 traditional Chinese Medicine curative effect: the total efficiency of 90% treatment group was much betterthan the control group the total efficiency of 76.67%, there are significant statistical t differences in the efficacy of the two groups(P < 0.05), which showed that the spleen dampness Decoction in the treatment of diarrhea predominant irritable syndrome(spleen dampness type) in patients with clinical efficacy is significantly better than pinaverium bromide. Thirdly, The effect of 3 treatment group in improving patients diarrhea, abdominal distension and pain, abdominal fullness, fatigue, loss of appetite and other aspects of the superior to the control group, while the results of statistic analysis showed that the two group in improving symptoms of bowel flatus curative have no significant difference. Fourthly, afterwards each patient in two groups was questioned about past treatment for 3 months at the end of treatment. The recurrence rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group, and it showed that the spleen dampness decoction has more advantages in the long-term curative effect.Conclusion:Compared with the western medicine in improving the clinical symptoms of patients, spleen dampness decoction for the treatment of(spleen dampness type) of diarrhea type irritable bowel syndrome has better curative effect. What significantly reduces the recurrence rate with no obvious damage of liver and renal during treatment, and can relieve the economic burden of the patients, worth clinical promotion.
