Abstract/Summary:
Objective By measuring CMS patients’ plasma level of von Willebrand factor(v WF), von Willebrand factor cleaving protease(v WF-CP, ADAM13) and thrombospondin 1(TSPl), to discuss the roles of them in CMS. Looking for sensitive and effective laboratory parameter changes of the CMS to detect and guide clinical treatment. Methods Employ enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) to assess plasma level of v WF, ADAM13 and TSP1 in three sampling groups. Respectively: 28 CMS patients, 28 healthy plateau natives, 28 healthy Xining citizens. Results CMS patients’ plasma level of v WF(64.41±12.87)U/L was higher than the level of Healthy plateau natives’(30.64±20.26)U/L and Xining healthy citizens’(22.69±9.12)U/L(P<0.05). CMS patients’ plasma level of ADAM13(1.08±0.29)ng/ml and Healthy plateau natives’(1.01±0.19)ng/ml were lower than the level of Xining healthy citizens’(1.27±0.30)ng/ml(P<0.05). CMS patients’ plasma level of TSP1(6.94±4.78)ng/ml was higher than the level of Healthy plateau natives’(3.97±2.20)ng/ml and Xining healthy citizens’(2.55±2.94)ng/ml(P<0.05). Healthy plateau natives’ level of PLT(275.03±33.42)×109/L was higher than CMS patients’(151.92±64.59)×109/L and Xining healthy citizens’(223.67±69.24)×109/L(P<0.05).CMS patients’ level of PLT(151.92±64.59)×109/L was lower than the level of healthy plateau natives’(275.03±33.42) × 109/L and Xining healthy citizens’(223.67±69.24)×109/L(P<0.05).CMS patients’ PT(16.03±4.23)S was longer than healthy plateau natives’(12.22±0.86)S and Xining healthy citizens’(12.21±1.0)S(P < 0.05).CMS patients’ APTT(44.31±9.08)S and healthy plateau natives’(31.90±5.45)S were longer than Xining healthy citizens’(28.17±4.17)S(P<0.05).CMS patients’ PT and APTT were positively correlated(r=0.504).Healthy plateau natives’ PT and APTT were positively correlated(r=0.430)too.Conclusion CMS patients’ plasma levels of v WF and TSP1 were higher than the level of Healthy plateau natives’ and Xining healthy citizens’. CMS patients’ plasma level of ADAM13 and Healthy plateau natives’ were lower than the level of Xining healthy citizens’.the levels of v WF and TSP1 change at CMS, while the level of ADAM13 change at borh hypoxia and CMS. The consuming reduction of the PLT leads to the reduction of PLT in CMS patients. On one hand, preventive and protective from blood clots, on the other hand leads to bleeding. Healthy plateau natives’ level of PLT was higher than CMS patients’ and Xining healthy citizens’, may high altitude cause compensatory increase in platelet count. The prolonged of PT and APTT both in CMS patients’ and healthy plateau natives’ shows positive correlation.
