Objective: To investigate the relation between anxiety, depression, NGF and SP in patients with vitiligo. Methods: Collected thirty patients with Vitiligo(Case group) and thirty normal controls who went to the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University from June 2013 to May 2014. TO assess the emotional score and some psychological symptoms and their severity of symptoms of the two groups by using self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), self-rating depression scale (SDS) and Symptom Checklist(SCL-90).TO detect the levels of SP and NGF of two groups by ELISA. The ultimate purpose is to analysis the correlation between SP, NGF and the emotional score , some psychological symptoms , the severity of symptoms of the patients. Results: The serum levels of SP and NGF(307.99±72.55 )pg/ml ,( 35.31±11.77)pg/ml and the SAS,SDS,SCL-90 scores in Vitiligo patients were significantly higner than the serum levels of SP and NGF(200.05±52.01)pg/ml ,( 24.35±7.32)pg/ml and the scores in normal group(p<0.01). In vitiligo patients group ,the serum levels of SP and NGF was positively correlated with SAS,SDS (r=0.670,0.884,0.856,0.729,p<0.01),there was also a positive correlation between the serum levels of SP and NGF(r=0.864, p<0.01). Conclusions: (1)The SAS, SDS and SCL-90 score in sick group were higher than the normal group, which indicated that negative emotions such as anxiety and depression played an important role in the pathogenesis of vitiligo. (2)the serum levels of NGF and SP in patients with vitiligo were significantly higher than those in the normal control group, suggesting that SP and NGF may be the mediating mechanism of the pathogenesis of vitiligo. (3)The serum levels of NGF and SP of patients with vitiligo were positively correlated . It is suggested that SP, NGF and anxiety and depression interact eath other ,all of them may be involved in the occurrence and development of vitiligo...
