| Objective:To study the recent curative effect and the safety of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with TP/TC regimen applied in the treatment of locally advanced cervical cancer.Method:According to the analysis of the Clinical and pathological data about the 41 patients in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Hospital of Shanxi University from November in 2011 to December in 2014, who were diagnosed with locally advanced cervical cancer, they were divided into two groups, the study group(neoadjuvant chemotherapy and surgery) of 23 and the control group(direct surgery) of 18. Through comparing the situations during operation(operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume)and postoperative pathology(the positive rate of vascular invasion, cervical muscle layer infiltration rate, the rate of pelvic lymph node metastasis), as well as through studying local changes in tumor volume and the side effects of chemotherapy recently of the study group after chemotherapy, evaluation of curative effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with TP/TC regimen, the recent curative effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy with TP/TC regimen was evaluated.Results:1. The total effective rate(CR + PR) of 23 patients in the study group after preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy was 87.0%, including the rate of complete remission(CR) 17.4%, the partial remission rate(PR) of 69.6%, no change(NC) 13%,disease progression(PD) 0%. They had no serious side effects of chemotherapy;2. By comparing the data between the two groups during operation, that is, the operation time(3.29 h ± 0.42h) and the amount of bleeding during operation(506.96 ml ±152.86ml) of the study group, the operation time(4.08 h ± 0.38h) and the amount of bleeding during operation(665.00 ml ± 170.61ml) of the control group, the difference wasstatistically significant(P < 0.05);3. The results of the two groups of patients after operation were compared, namely, lymphovascular invasion positive rate was 21.7% in the study group, and 44.4% in the control group(P < 0.05); cervical muscle layer infiltration rate was 8.7% in the study group, and 38.8% in the control group(P < 0.05); lymph node metastasis rate was 17.4%in the study group, and 55.5% in the control group(P < 0.05), The difference was statistically significant. Conclusions:Neoadjuvant chemotherapy before operation for patients with locally advanced cervical cancer is safe and reliable, which has exact curative and mild side effects. |
