Objective: Objectives: To analysis the relationship between HPV11/6 and juvenile-onset recurrent respiratory papillomotosis(JO-RRP),we use the Tagman real-time quantitative PCR to identify HPV DNA of the 32 patient of juvenile-onset recurrent respiratory papillomotosis.Methonds: All patient with JO-RRP who are enrolled in this study coming from a government training hospital in lanzhou gansu provinces, after Informed Consent, the laryngeal biopsies from 32 children who all have undergone surgery for eliminating papillomotosis are detected for HPV11 and HPV6 using Tagman real-time quantitative PCR. According to Doyle’s standard of the severity for JO-RRP,this 32 cases are classified into two categories: Aggressive of disease and Non aggressive of disease. The aim of this study is to analysis if there is any potential association between HPVA type and the severity of this diseaseResult :Among this 32 patients, the age ranged from 9 months to 12 years.During the follow-up-visit,six patient of this children tend to self-curve without any recurrence of the disease 。But the others are not so lucky, they have to bear the pain of reiterant recurrence of this disease.Across 32 cases of JO-RRP children,12 cases are identified as aggressive course of this disease. Then the rest of 20 cases are consider as non aggressive course of this disease.9cases of this severe laryngeal papillomatosis patients are detected as HPV11 infected.17 cases of this non severe laryngeal papillomatosis are detected as HPV6 infected. A X 2 test of independence showed statistically significant differences between these proportions.(P=0.002).Conclusions:(1)For the study of relationship between HPV11/HPV6 with the severity of disease, A X2 test of independence showed statistically significant differences between these proportions.(P=0.002).Show that when JO-RRP is infected with HPV11,the disease is tend to more attacks and relapse, when is is infected with HPV6,disease tend to stale state.(2)Of the 32 cases,HPV11 is detected in 12 cases,HPV6 in 20 cases, showing that the HPV detection rate in papillary tumor is 100%,which is in line with literature reported.(3)Real-time quantitative PCR is an effective method to detect HPV DNA in JO-RRP,which can be used in clinical diagnosis.
