Objective:By assessing the efficacy and effect of endovascular repair in different periods,to confirm the best operation time of type B aortic dissection.Method:From January 2012 to March 2014,a retrospective clinical study of 60 cases suffered from type B aortic dissection。31 patients were treated in acute period,16 patients were treated in subacute period,13 patients were treated in chronic period。The clinical outcome and complications were compared in three groups.Result:In terms of perioperative complication rates between the three groups, acute group is larger than the other two groups, and the difference was significantly(P<0.05). The maximum diameter and thrombus rates of false lumen postoperative among the three groups, chronic group is larger than the other two groups, and the difference was significantly(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between acute group and subacute group(P>0.05).Conclusion: The short-term outcome is excellent in the treatment of type B aortic dissection by using endovascular repair. And the timing of the operation is subacute period.
