Objective:The aim of this study is though a retrospective analysis of the clinical pathology date and treatment date of 119 patients with limited-stage small cell lung cancer which treated by radiotherapy in our hospital to investigate the efficacy and the related prognostic factors. Methods:119 limited-stage small cell lung cancer patients which had been diagnosed by histopathology or cytology and treated by the department of oncology of First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University had been collected to retrospectively analyzed.Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS19.0 software package. Survival rate was calculated by using life-table method. Univariate survival analysis conducted by Kaplan-Meier method;Log-rank nonparametric tests analyze the impact of various factors on the prognosis; the meaningful factors find in Kaplan-Meier analysis were analyzed by COX proportional hazards model for multivariate analysis to looking for an independent prognostic factor. Statistical results to P <0.05 was considered statistically different. Results:1.In this study, 119 cases of patient follow-up ended on April 10, 2015, follow-up rate of 100%. The overall media n survival of patients is 23.0 months, 1-year, 2- year, 3- year survival rates were 84.84%, 44.50%, 13.45%.2.Univariate analysis: radiation dose, radiation intervening time, whether concurrent chemoradiotherapy, whether undergoing PCI treatment, Comparing with KPS score, whether newly diagnosed patients with anemia, NSE level at first diagnosis, the efficacy of first- line therapy and so on,the differences have statistically significant in limited-stage small cell lung cancer. Comparing with radiotherapy way, the sex, age, Tumor location a nd so on, the differences have not statistic meaning in limited-stage small cell lung cancer.3.COX proportional hazards model for multivariate analysis imply that whether concurrent chemoradiotherapy, KPS score, NSE level at first diagnosis, the efficacy of first-line therapy are independent prognostic factor in limited-stage small lung cancer. Conclusion:radiotherapy dose DT ﹤ 50 Gy, Radiation therapy later, not concurrent chemoradiotherapy, not undergo PCI, Low KPS score, anemia at first diagnosis, NSE increased at first diagnosis, the poor of First-line treatment curative effect, is the poor prognostic factors of limited-stage small cell lung cancer. whether concurrent chemoradiotherapy, KPS score,NSE level at first diagnosis, the First- line treatment curative effect is the independent prognostic factor.
