The Clinical Observation Of Pai Qi Yin’s Promotion To The Recovery Of Gastrointestinal Function After Appendectomy

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of Pai Qi Yin on recovery of gastrointestinal function after surgery for appendicitis, explore the mechanism of Pai Qi Yin, and provide some theoretical significance for medical treatment of gastrointestinal disorders after Appendicitis surgery, frame the reliable control method of reducing the complications like intestine obstruction and intestinal adhesion occurred in patients treated by appendicitis surge.Methods: Patients with acute appendicitis surgery were chosen as the clinical research object, 60 patients who were divided randomly into two equal number groups(30 cases): the treatment group and the control group were included in the standards-compliant according to the criteria of inclusion and exclusion. On the basis of conventional treatment after surgery,plain water was supplied to the control group, the treatment group were treated by Pai Qi Yin.The patients in two groups were respectively treated daily every 8:00 and 18:00 with 100 ml of water and Pai Qi Yin after 6 hours of conventional fasting for solids and liquids after surgery,the treatment was continuing until the recovery of anus defecate function. Keep a record of the relevant data of observation target, which includes the time of the first exhausting, the time of the first defecation, postoperative recovery of bowel sounds, abdominal bloating, and other clinical total efficacy, make a statistical analysis, evaluate the effects of exhaust drink on recovery of gastrointestinal function after surgery for appendicitis.Results: After two groups of gender, age, pathological type distribution, operation time,operation mode, etc. statistical analysis, consistent with the two groups at baseline were comparable.The Pai Qi Yin have better effect to the patients with acute appendicitis surgery on postoperative recovery of bowel sounds, the time of the first exhausting, the time of the first defecation, abdominal bloating, and other clinical total efficacy, there was a conspicuous difference, and have the statistical significance.Conclusion: The Pai Qi Yin works well for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders after appendicitis surgery, it can reduce patient pain, promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function.
