The Clinical Study On Buccal Acupunc-Ture Treatment Of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective: To observe the clinical curative effects of buccal needle treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and to provide clinical treatment evidence of rheumatoid arthritis for buccal needle. Provide certain reference for the selection of method for clinical treatment of the disease.Methods: According to the doctor order, use of Excel software to generate random numbers table is divided 90 patients into two groups, buccal needle treatment group and the control group, each group has 45 patients. Buccal needle treatment group and the control group together to give western medicine therapy on a regular basis. Methotrexate 10 mg each time, once a week, Leflunomide 20 mg each time, once a day, 4 weeks for a period of treatment. Buccal needle treatment group according to the body pain choose corresponding buccal needle acupoints. Put needles into points, small rotating, moderate intensity, each point 10 to 15 seconds, retaining needles 30 minutes, remove the needle from the skin. The control group chooses the acupuncture corresponding classical acupoints and the following acupoints on the meridians. Put needles into points, When a patient meridians have feeling, you can small rotating, moderate intensity, each point 10 to 15 seconds, retaining needles 30 minutes, remove the needle from the skin. Treatment once every 2 days, 10 times for a course of treatment. There are two courses of treatment in total. The end of 10 times of treatment, the patients have a good rest about 5-7 days. To observe the short-form of Mc Gill pain questionnaire score,we choose observation time before acupuncture,acupuncture after 1 time, 10 times, 20 times. To observe the clinical data of ESR(Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) and CRP(C-Reactive Protein) value changes at the end of the treatment of all.Results: The two groups after treatment 1, 10 times, 20 times, respectively, compared with before treatment. There are Statistically significant(P<0.05). The two groups after treatment for 20 times, compared with 10 times after treatment. There are Statistically significant(P<0.05). The comparison between the two groups after the first treatment, there are Statistically significant(P<0.05). The total effective rate was 90.91% of buccal needle treatment group and the total effective rate was 88.37% of the control group after 20 times, Compared two groups has no Statistical significance(P>0.05). To observe the clinical data of ESR and CRP value changes at the end of the treatment of all, Compared two groups has no Statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion: Buccal group and the control group in treating rheumatoid arthritis has good curative effect. Buccal needle for the treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis as well as classical acupuncture needle. The analgesic effect of immediate buccal needle better than the control group. When patients feel pain is very severe, We can choose buccal needle to relieve patients pain right now. Buccal needle have the characteristics of easy to learn, quickly relieve the patients’ pain. Everyone likes this new method. It is worth sharing with the world.
