Objective By investigating the relationship between SUA levels and different TOAST classification of AIS, to discuss the influence of SUA levels on different TOAST classification, and instruct whether to guide the clinical work on the prevention and treatment of AIS.Methods This study is a retrospective case analysis research. 192 cases of AIS patients were treat as the object of study, which were diagnosed by the guide of Diagnosis and treatment of ischemic stroke in China 2010, and parted by the internationally recognized type TOAST classification standard criteria in the neurology of Second Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University, during May 2013 and October 2014. 106 cases of healthy matched persons were selected as control group in the hospital medical center. In AIS group and control group, SUA levels were measured and analyzed.Results(1)AIS group, in the SBP(P=0.000), DBP(P=0.012), TC(P=0.006), TG(P=0.030), SUA levels(P=0.000), CAS(P=0.002), has more significant and statistical significance(P < 0.05) than control group. Binary logistic regression analysis shows that the influence of DBP(P=0.382), TC(P=0.169) and TG(P=0.548) aren’t the risky factors for AIS to happen, and the influence of SBP(OR=1.029;95%CI,1.010~1.047), CAS(OR=1.748;95%CI, 1.024~2.984) and SUA levels(OR=1.003;95%CI, 1.000~1.006) are the risky factors for AIS to happen.(2)CAS group of AIS people in the history of high blood pressure(P=0.046),SBP(P=0.001), TC(P=0.024), triglyceride(P=0.027), SUA levels(P=0.002)has more significant and statistical significance(P < 0.05) than non CAS group. Binary logistic regression analysis shows that the influence of history of high blood pressure(P=0.299), TC(P=0.518) and TG(P=0.082) aren’t the risky factors for non CAS to happen, and the influence of SBP(OR=1.015;95%CI, 1.001~1.030), SUA levels(OR=1.006;95%CI, 1.002~1.010) are the risky factors for CAS to happen. It’s necessary to make treatment to the high SUA levels in clinic.(3)The comparison between subtype group of TOAST classification, in SUA levels(P=0.008)、CAS(P=0.000)has more significant and statistical significance(P <0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis shows that high SUA levels(OR = 1.010;95% CI, 1.004~1.015) are the most likely to cause the occurrence of type LAA compared with low SUA levels when CE group as the reference, CAS(OR = 1.000;95% CI, 2.555~20.954) are the most likely to cause the occurrence of type LAA compared with non CAS people when CE group as the reference, high SUA levels(OR=1.008; 95%CI, 1.002~1.014) are likely to cause the occurrence of type SUE compared with low SUA levels when CE group as the reference.Conclusions High SUA levels have correlation with the occurrence of acute atherosclerotic ischemic stroke. The risk of the occurrence of AIS it increases, is probably by promoting the formation and development of atherosclerosis. High SUA levels can be thought of the independent risky factors for AIS to happen. It’s necessary to strengthen the assessment of the risks of AIS to prevent the occurrence of the AIS for clinical patients with high SUA levels.
