Cervical cancer is one of the most common gynecologic malignancies. In the early state of cervical cancer radical surgery and radiotherapy have satisfactory results, however, for the advanced (â…¡b-â…£a) and recurrent cervical cancer radiotherapy plays a main role. But there are still ineffective case because of radiotherapy resistance. The recombinant human endostatin (Endostar) is a novel drugs that can inhibits the proliferation and migration of vascular endothelium, thereby inhibiting tumor angiogenesis, and increasing the radiosensitivity in cancer radiation treatment. This article is a research summary about the therapy of endostatin combined with radiotherapy in cervical cancer.
