Objective:To explore the β-elemene breast cancer xenografts in mice sensitizing effect of radiotherapy and breast cancer xenografts affect angiogenesis.Methods:64 female mice were randomly divided into 8 groups the number of tables, respectively, the control group (saline group), 100mg/kg β-lemene group,50 mg/kg β-elemene group,25 mg/kg β-elemene group (control group given radiotherapy basis) radiation group, 100mg/kg β-elemene plus radiotherapy group,50mg/gβ-elemene plus radiotherapy group,25mg/kg β-elemene plus radiotherapy group its computing time and sensitizing tumor growth factor. Sensitizing effects and best dose group, combined with radiotherapy group, radiotherapy group, the control group transplanted tumor tissue expression of VEGF and MVD.Results:From the transplanted tumor growth curve can be compared with the control group, the results suggest that the growth of transplanted tumors in each group there is a clear difference (p<0.05), β-elemene combined with radiotherapy group, β-elemene group The growth curve was significantly slower than the control group. 100mg/kg β-elemene group transplanted tumor doubling time was 18.5±1.35 d,50mg/kg β-elemene group was 11.4±.08 d,25mg/kg β-elemene group was 8.9±.09 d, and blank group was 5.4±.98 d. 100mg/kg P-elemene plus radiotherapy group transplanted tumor doubling time was 27.5±2.35 d,50mg/kg P-elemene plus radiotherapy group was 18.4±1.38 d,25mg/kg β-elemene shift combined group was 12.9±1.67 d, the radiotherapy group was 11.8 ± 1.93 d, and prompt radiotherapy group doubling time of less than 100mg/kg P-elemene group (p<0.05), but higher than 50mg/kg β-elemene group (p> 0.05). 100mg/kg P-elemene group sensitizing factor 1.4,50mg/kg P-elemene group sensitizing factor bit 1.09,25 mg/kgβ--elemene group sensitizing factor 0.63,50 mg/kg P-elemene meet as a radiation sensitizer. 50mg/kg P-elemene plus radiotherapy group and 50mg/kg P-elemene group were significantly inhibited VEGF expression (p<0.05). MVD in the control group was 56.5±4.56, radiotherapy group was 49.5±.45, 50mg/kg β-elemene group was 31.8±.56,50mg/kg P-elemene plus radiotherapy group was 11.4±.65, The results suggest that 50mg/kg β-elemene plus radiotherapy group was significantly better inhibition.Conclusion:50mg/kgβ-elemene effective as breast cancer radiotherapy sensitizers, and can effectively reduce the expression of VEGF and MVD, thereby inhibiting the formation of tumor microvessels.
