Effect And Security Of Insulin Analogs Combination With Oral Antidiabetic Drugs In Patients With Type 2 Diabetes

Objective To observe the efficacy and safety of three kinds of insulin analogs that commonly used in the clinical in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) who have poor blood sugar control with lifestyle interventions and oral antidiabetic drugs(OADs). It will provide more basis to choose for initiation clinical therapy of insulin.Methods 79 T2DM who had poor blood sugar control with lifestyle interventions and OADs were selected total. The subjects were divided into three groups:one group of 25 people used insulin detemir, one group of 29 people used insulin glargine, the other group of 25 people used biphasic insulin aspart 30(BIAsp30), each group was combinatied with OADs, the treatment time is 4 months.Fasting blood glucose (FBG), postprandial blood glucose (PBG), glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc), body mass index (BMI) were measured in patients before and after treatment,the changes of FBG, PBG, HbAlc and the success rate of HbAlc (the judgment standard is HbAlc< 7%) and the incidence of hypoglycemia were calculated.Results The measured value of HbAlc, the blood sugar had no significant difference between groups before treatment (P> 0.05).After 4 months of treatment, HbAlc, FBG, PBG of the three groups was obviously decreased (P< 0.01), the decline was no significant in the three groups (P> 0.05). Three groups had no significant change in BMI before and after treatment(P> 0.05).uccess rate of HbAlc were 44%,60% and 53%, respectively in insulin detemir group, insulin glargine group and BIAsp30 group. Three groups had no significant difference(P> 0.05).The incidence of hypoglycemia were 12%,7% and 20%, respectively in insulin detemir group, insulin glargine group and BIAsp30 group. Three groups had no significant difference (P> 0.05),no severe hypoglycemia.Conclusion T2DM who had poor blood sugar control with lifestyle interventions and OADs combinatied with the three kinds of insulin analogs, can achieve the same effect of blood glucose control, their weight has no obvious changeand have low incidence of hypoglycemia.
