Objective: Through monitoring of Urumqi municipal medical institutions in X-ray radiation workers in 2010 to 2014, observed radiation dose according to the dose of changes and the evaluation of occupational exposure levels, analysis on effects of irradiance levels and dose of the chromosome aberration rate and micronucleus rate of medical institutions of different levels, different types, different X-ray exposure years. Methods: Personal external exposure dose were measured by using FJ427A1 microcomputer type heat release light dose reader, FJ411 B type heat release light precision annealing furnace and LiF(Mg, Cu, P) film side. The chromosome and micronucleus in the radiation group and the control group were detected, and compared with the radiation group and the control group, the rate of chromosome aberration, micronucleus rate were compared. The effects of X irradiation dose on chromosome aberration rate and micronucleus rate were analyzed. Results: From 2010 to 2014 were monitored 41 municipal medical institutions, All 1661 X-ray radiation in 373 workers, last 5 years were found that Occupational External Exposure passengers were gradually increased in. Per capita annual effective dose below the proportion of 5mSv showed an upward trend year after year, gradually reduce the per capita annual effective dose, the per capita annual effective dose of X-ray to 0.88 ± 0.23 mSv. Medical institution level, radiation type, X-ray exposure years is the influence factor of individual dose. In peripheral blood lymphocyte genetic damage, the radiation group and control group were mainly in the non-distortion. Radiation group dicentric + ring distortion rate is 0.004%, the control group without centromere + ring distortion. Radiation group dyeing shape distortion rate and dyeing haplotype distortion rate were 0.138% and 0.203%, control group of chromosome type aberrations rate and dyeing haplotype distortion rate was 0.044% and 0.103%, radiation group and control group lymphocyte micronucleus rates were 1.490‰ and 0.941‰. There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion: From 2010~2014 Urumqi municipal medical institutions radiation X-ray workers per capita annual effective dose far below the national standard limit value, conforms to our country radiological health protection standard. Peripheral blood lymphocyte free kinetochore distortion rate and dicentric aberration rate, dicentric ring distortion rate and the stability of the chromosome aberration rate and micronucleus rate were in the range of occupation health standard, Urumqi municipal medical institutions in X-ray radiation workers in radiation work environment more secure than ever.
