| Objective According to the normalized workload method of personal dose estimation,to estimate personal dose for Tianjin cohort members of Chinese medical diagnostic X-ray workers,which could provide basic dose data for its epidemiological analysis and furtherly for risk assessment of low dose radiation carcinogenesis.Method Based on the data of occupational X-ray exposure history of Tianjin medical diagnostic X-ray workers,information of working hours,types of work,outpatient service and protection were obtained.By using the method of normalized workload,cumulative skin dose of medical diagnostic X-ray workers in Tianjin through their worklifies were calculated.Result Cumulative personal skin dose for most of medical diagnostic X-ray workers through their worklifies in Tianjin were among 20-150mGy,with an average value of 108.0mGy.The length of service of medical diagnostic X-ray workers in Tianjin were concentrated in 16-40 years,with an average length of 27 years.Most of annual dose of medical diagnostic X-ray workers in Tianjin were lower than 20 mGy/year,and the average value is 4.1 mGy/year.Conclusion The average cumulative dose and average annual dose of medical X-ray workers began to work in different years in Tianjin were lower than that reported in the literature. |
