As a vital treatment during emergency circumstances, respiratory monitoring is widely applied; among which, illustraing respiratory curves provides a reference for the diagnosis of respiratory diseases. In this study, the permanent magnetic localization, a non-line-of-sight technology with high accuracy, simple operation, non-contact and harmless to human bodies, was used to acquire respiration curves.First of all, a space magnetic field distribution model of multi-magnet was deduced from the macroscopic electromagnetic theory. Using the particle swarm optimization algorithm, the initial position of target is acquired as the initial value for the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm, a nonlinear optimization algorithm which combines the high convergence of the intelligence algorithm and high operating efficiency of nonlinear algorithm.Secondly, dynamic signals of thoracic breathing were obtained through several HMC1043 sensors. During this process, a set/reset circuit had been used to remove external bias and maintain the high sensitivity of the sensors. Afterwards, the collected result was processed by operational amplifier and low-pass filtering to achieve more accurate and stable signals,In addition, PC softwares were produced by utilizing Lab VIEW to write the programs of data reception, process, display and storage. Compared with traditional methods, the algorithm method used in this study to achieve respiration curve maintains more feasibility and effectiveness. Finally, in-depth study on the permanent magnet localization was carried out. The movements of a single permanent magnet and two permanent magnets were tracked respectively in the space. The results demonstrated that the algorithm method acquires general adaptability.
