The Clinical Research On Acute Herpes Zoster Treated By Filiform-fire Needle Combined With Wrist-ankle Needle

Objective:By using RCT to observe the clinical curative effect of the Filiform-fire Needle combined with wrist-ankle needle therapy in the treatment of herpes zoster.Methods:There were 64 cases randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group, The treatment group was treated by "Filiform-fire Needle combined with wrist-ankle needle"method, and the control group was treated by western medicine (Oral valaciclovir hydrochloride)。 The two groups were 10 days for 1 course of treatment; We evaluated the clinical effect between two groups by the total effective scale, the index of HZ and pain, single symptom scale; We evaluated the occurrence rate of PHN of the two group in the 1st month,2nd month and the 3rd month by the index of the pain and the single symptom scale of PHN;The above results were analyzed using SPSS 17.0.Results:1、The baseline of the treatment group and control group were almost uniform distribution, thus the two group were comparable(P>0.05);2、The treatment group was more efficiency in shortening the time for releasing pain and the time for eliminating pain, and the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05);3、The time for stopping and scabbing of the treatment group is shorter than the control group.(P<0.05);4、The analgesic effect immediately of treatment group was better than the control group (P<0.05);5、To compare the therapeutic effect:the therapeutic effect of treatment group was better, The cure rate and the total response rate of the treatment group are higher than the ones of the control group, and the difference of the therapeutic effect between the two groups is statistically significant (P<0.05);6、The occurrence rate of PHN of the two groups were no significant difference in the 1st month,2nd month and the 3rd month(P> 0.05).Conclusion:1、The" Filiform-fire Needle combined with wrist-ankle needle" method showed significant effect on the HZ,and more effective than the western medicine。 The treatment group was superior to the control group on the effects of forming the scab, stopping the herpes,reducing the pain, adding the time of instant analgesic effect;2、The method of "Filiform-fire Needle combined with wrist-ankle needle" has so many advantages, such as easy for operation, less side effect, safe, low cost, easy to be accepted and so on, therefore, this method is proper for the clinical application and further development.
