Objective:Determine the single nucleotide polymorphisms in the promoter region of hsCRP gene in sites of rs2808630, rs1205, rs2794520, rs1800947 and rs1417938,further to explore the relationship between the polymorphism of the gene and the chronic kidney disease in rural Xinjiang. Methods: Plasma hsCRP and other related indicators were measured in 87 patients with CKD and 298 control subjects. SNaPshot method was applied to determine the single nucleotide polymorphisms in the promoter region of hsCRP gene in sites of rs2808630, rs1205, rs2794520, rs1800947 and rs1417938. Use Shesis genetic software analysis method analysis the hsCRP polymorphism loci.Results: The hsCRP and other inflammatory indicators of the two groups were statistically significant, and the CKD group was higher than the healthy control group. The odds of CT genotype rs2794520 in CKD group was greater than that of healthy controls(P<0.05), and the odds of TT in CKD group was lower than that in healthy control group(P<0.05), Allele C and T between The odds of genotype CT rs1205 in CKD group was greater than that in healthy control group(P<0.05), and the probability of genotype TT in CKD group was lower than that in healthy control group(P<0.05), The allele C and T in CKD group were significantly different from healthy controls(P<0.05), rs1800947, rs2808630, and rs1417938 were detected in the CKD group and the healthy control group but they were not significantly different. The frequency of haplotype T-T-C-T-T in CKD group was less than that in healthy control group. Conclusion: hsCRP, IL-6, and so on, is not only an inflammatory marker, but also as an important proinflammatory mediators in the development of chronic kidney disease.sites of rs2794520,rs1205 may be associated with the genetic susceptibility of CKD in rural areas of Xinjiang Uygur nationality, and the rs2794520 genotype TT may is a protective factor of CKD in rural areas of Xinjiang Uygur.rs1205 genotype TT may is a protective factor of CKD in rural areas of Xinjiang Uygur.and haplotype T-T-C-T-T may be a protective factor of CKD in rural areas in Xinjiang.
