Lao Lin Tang Jia Wei Effect On Cellular Immunity Of Patients With Recurrent Urinary Tract Infections

Objective: To investigate Lao Lin Tang Jia Wei effect on cellular immunity of patients with recurrent urinary tract infections.Methods: 1.The study observed 60 cases of recurrent urinary tract infections with spleen and kidney yin deficiency dampness-heat type in clinical. All 60 cases of patients with recurrent urinary tract infections were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, in which group included 30 cases and belongs to the type of spleen and kidney yin deficiency dampness-heat syndrome. The treatment group was given Lao Lin Tang Jia Wei oral treatment of TCM, while the control group was given Shen An capsule(Yunnan Baoyuan Tang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.) oral treatment of TCM. The two groups both were treated for 4 weeks. There were no statistical difference in age, gender, course of disease, etc.2. To observe the change of laboratory indicators such as the cellular immunity(CD3+、CD4+、CD8+), mucosal immunity(Urinary SIg A), routine urine(Pro、BLD、RBC、WBC), Urine culture, and then to compare the treatment results and make a judgment of difference of the curative effect.3. To observe the changes of main symptoms before and after treatment of two groups, and quantify the symptom integral, then analyze the effect.Results: 1.Comparison of the total clinical efficacy: compared the treatment group to the control group in the short-term and long-term total efficiency both of which were statistically significant(P<0.05) after Ridit test, and the short-term and long-term total effective rate of the treatment group are obviously better than those of the control group.2. Comparison of the total effect of TCM: compared the treatment group to the control group in the short-term and long-term total effect of TCM both of which were statistically significant(P<0.05) after Ridit test, and the short-term and long-term total effective rate of the treatment group are obviously better than those of the control group.3. The change in cellular immunity: before and after treatment, compared two groups in CD4、CD8、CD4/CD8 had significant difference in the improvement of cellular immunity(P<0.05), the treatment group are obviously better than the control group.4. The change in Urinary SIgA: after treatment, two groups had significant difference in the improvement of Urinary SIg A(P<0.01), the control group didn’t have(P>0.05).5. Comparison of the efficacy of TCM symptoms: compared the treatment group to the control group in the short-term and long-term efficacy of TCM symptoms both of which were statistically significant(P<0.05) after Ridit test, and the short-term and long-term total effective rate of the treatment group are obviously better than those of the control group.6. Comparison of TCM syndromes: after the six months treatment of two cases of TCM syndrome, the total scores were decreased than before the treatment,two groups both had significant difference(P≤0.05),and the symptoms of treatment group were obviously improved than that of the control group.7. Comparison of recurrence rate: treatment group’s recurrence rate was significantly lower than the control group’s recurrence rate, the difference of recurrence rate was statistically significant(P<0.05) and the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion:1. Lao Lin Tang Jia Wei can significantly improve patients’ symptoms of the spleen and kidney yin deficiency dampness-heat type of recurrent urinary tract infections.2. Lao Lin Tang Jia Wei can improve patients’ cellular immunity function of the spleen and kidney yin deficiency dampness-heat type of recurrent urinary tract infections, and improve the quality of life of patients.3. Lao Lin Tang Jia Wei can effectively improve the Urinary SIgA value of patients of the spleen and kidney yin deficiency dampness-heat type of recurrent urinary tract infections, and improve the mucosal immunity of patients.4. Lao Lin Tang Jia Wei can effectively reduce the recurrence rate of patients of the spleen and kidney yin deficiency dampness-heat type of recurrent urinary tract infections.5. During the treatment, there was no side effects and adverse reactions.It showed that Lao Lin Tang Jia Wei was safe and effective in treating patients of the spleen and kidney yin deficiency dampness-heat type of recurrent urinary tract infections.
