| Objective:Investigate urethral injury after pelvic fracture combined with simple pelvic fractures the differences of effects on male sexual function.Methods: we analyse previous clinical datas of 40 cases of male patients with pelvic fractures in our hospital. 25 cases is simple pelvic fractures(group A) and 15 cases is complete posterior urethral rupture(group B). All the patients were assessed by IIEF-5 and assessments were made at 2 time points including at the time of prior to injury, after fracture. Detecting the patients’ NPT whose IIEF-5 score was below 21 scores and statistic datas and analyse it.Results: All the patients(group B) were occurrence of erectile dysfunctioin and there were significant differences in the IIEF-5 scores pre and post injury(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the IIEF-5 scores post injury between group A and B(P<0.05)and no significant differences in the IIEF-5 scores between age groups in group B(P>0.05).There were significant differences in the result of detecting the patients’ NPT between group A and B(P<0.05).Conclusion: Patients with urethral injury after pelvic fracture combined with simple pelvic fractures patients prone to erectile dysfunction. |
