Objective: This study through investigation of large sample cases, in order to understand the changes of TCM syndrome characteristics of knee osteoarthritis patients undergoing total knee replacement in perioperative period, and summarizes the changes of the main symptoms of knee osteoarthritis patients in the perioperative period, and the optimal combination of scientific and rational use of the period in all kinds of medicine diagnosis and treatment of knee osteoarthritis in peri operation norms, provide theoretical basis and reliable basis for clinical medication and treatment of perioperative stages is more standardized and effective, intends to establish a diagnosis and treatment of knee osteoarthritis peri operative period, so as to realize the knee osteoarthritis patients perioperative differentiation the "theory of governance".Methods: The research object of this project for 2014 January 2015 in December during joint surgery in Xinjiang Medical University Affiliated Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine hospital and voluntarily accept the artificial knee joint surface replacement surgery in the treatment of patients. Using questionnaire method, the cases included in the study, collecting basic data and around operation period of each observation node of clinical data to establish a database, by using frequency analysis method study of patients with symptoms of surgery and the duration of the observation node distribution in the peri, through cluster analysis and logistic regression analysis, summed up the knee osteoarthritis patients during surgery and the duration of the observation node main TCM syndromes and syndrome diagnosis. Results: The study included 300 effective cases, 21.3% were male(64 cases), women accounted for 78.7%(236 cases), 3.68 times as many women as men; in case the minimum age in patients 43 years of age, the maximum age of the patients was 80 years old, 300 patients age number: 65.4 + 6.20 years. The age more than 64 years old patients accounted for 57.7% of the total sample; according to the patient’s family were not included can be divided into 7 categories: Han, Hui, Mongolia, Uygur and Kazak, Kirgiz nationality, Dongxiang, which is of the Han nationality of most patients, 225 cases, accounted for 75%, followed by 33 Uygur patients. For example, a total of 11% cases; 300 cases of patients, duration of 2-26 years, the average duration of 7.4 + 3.51 years; perioperative TCM syndrome differentiation factors as follows: kidney yin deficiency and kidney yang deficiency, kidney qi deficiency, yin deficiency of liver and liver Yang deficiency, liver qi deficiency, liver blood deficiency, spleen deficiency, spleen deficiency, spleen deficiency, qi stagnation, blood stasis, phlegm, dampness and damp heat 15. Analysis income peri operation period of each observation node syndrome: surgery prior to the "kidney yin deficiency of kidney yang deficiency and liver deficiency of liver yin deficiency of liver blood deficiency of spleen yin deficiency of Spleen Yang and cold damp phlegm and blood stasis syndrome as the main syndromes; postoperative 1 week with" kidney yin deficiency and kidney yang deficiency of kidney qi deficiency of the spleen yin deficiency of spleen yang deficiency of spleen qi deficiency and qi stagnation and blood stasis "card as the main syndromes; postoperative 2 weeks with" kidney yin deficiency and kidney yang deficiency of kidney qi deficiency and qi stagnation "card as the main syndromes; postoperative 3 weeks to" kidney Yin deficiency of kidney yang deficiency of the spleen deficiency of Spleen Yin Yang syndrome is the main syndromes. Conclusion: Knee osteoarthritis patients perioperative changes of main TCM syndromes: pre operative surgery with "cold dampness syndrome", dialectical point: joint deformity, knee pain, cold cold limbs, limb cold, cold pain, morning stiffness, tinnitus or deafness, chest stuffiness, small then clear long, purple tongue, less fluid, less moss, no moss, wiry or slippery pulse number, pulse counting; 1 weeks after operation to "qi stagnation and blood stasis", dialectical points: lassitude, head such as wrap, pale or sallow complexion, dry mouth pain, dry mouth and dry throat, vomiting, anorexia, lethargy, sweating, night sweats, legs slightly swollen, night pain, morning stiffness, pain, five upset hot, dark purple tongue or ecchymosis, slow pulse, weak pulse; 2 weeks after operation with "spleen qi stagnation", dialectical points: Fanre, dizzy, tinnitus or deafness, Dry eyes, dry mouth and throat, diarrhea before dawn, spontaneous perspiration, pain, lower limb slightly swollen, pale purplish tongue, greasy tongue coating, wiry pulse; 3 weeks after the operation to "spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome" mainly, main symptoms: body fat, predawn diarrhea, dizziness, hot drink preference, night sweats, spontaneous perspiration, pain, pale tongue, taut pulse, pulse fine or astringent. "Yin Deficiency" and "insufficiency of the kidney yang" is run through the entire knee osteoarthritis peri operation period of the main syndrome elements, and therefore above 4 permits can be phase and form different clinical syndromes.
