Background:Knee-parameter measurements play a important role in the desiging of the knee prothesis. Currently, we have more and more research of the total knee replacement while uni-condylar knee replacement.This research not only explain the rationality of the uni-condylar prosthesis,but also play a significant role in desiging the prosthesis which is matching for the size of chinese by measuring uni-condylar prosthesis parametric.Objective: To obtain the parameters of the normal femoral condyles and explore its correlation with osteotomy and prosthesis design of the knee joint.Methods: 60 cases / 60 people of normal knee joint, We measure the parameters by using thin-section CT scan and post-processing techniques,then, calculate and analysis the mean of each parameter, standard deviation and correlation coefficient through SPSS Statistics20.0 statistical software.Results and conclusions: the diameter of the arc that passes through the lowest point of femoral medial condyle in the coronal plane of 42.685 ± 1.389 mm, the diameter of the arc that passes through the farthest point of posterior of femoral medial condyle in the Cross-section of 42.732 ± 1.440 mm, the average over the diameter of the arc that passes through the lowest point of femoral medial condyle in the Sagittal of 45.473 ± 1.332 mm, the diameter of the arc that passes through the farthest point of posterior of femoral medial condyle in the Sagittal of 42.587 ± 1.446 mm. The results illustrate that knee condyle related parameters were positively correlated with height, the male was significantly greater than female. On the one hand, there is a significant difference between the diameter of the arc that passes through the lowest point of femoral medial condyle in the sagittal and that of the farthest point of posterior of femoral medial condyle in the sagittal,on the other hand, there is no significant difference among the diameter of the arc that passes through the lowest point of femoral medial condyle in the coronal plane, the diameter of the arc that passes through the farthest point of posterior of femoral medial condyle in the Cross-section and that of the farthest point of posterior of femoral medial condyle in the Sagittal.
