Application Of "1+3" Progressive Method To Improve Nurses’ Competency In Pressure Ulcer Treatment

Pressure ulcer is a common clinical complication, not only brings many adverse effects to the quality of life of patients, but also makes treatment and nursing very difficult, and affects the recovery of the disease. How to prevent and tread pressure ulcer effectively is a difficult problem for clinical medical staff. Nurses are in the frontline of prevention and control work of pressure ulcer, take the main responsibility in the prevention of pressure ulcer. Nurse’s work is essential in assessment and processing of pressure ulcerHowever, with the progress of the basic research of pressure ulcer, New theories and new materials are emerging,the update of the relevant knowledge of pressure ulcer is not timely, the way to treat pressure ulcer is backward and even wrong, directly affect the outcome of pressure ulcers.Therefore, it is significant to improve the assessment and treatment ability of pressure ulcer of nurses.ObjectiveWith the application of "1+3" progressive method. Based on the current situation of the assessment of pressure ulcer in nurses, analysis of the reasons for the lack of pressure ulcer assessment and treatment ability of nurses. To take relevant measures for the reasons, Through the study of the method of improving the ability of pressure ulcer treatment after the implementation of the method,so as to verify its effectiveness.To provide an effective way to improve the quality of clinical nursing.MethodsIn 2014, a upper first-class hospital of Shandong Province, nurses from 7 departments of with the highest rate of pressure ulcers reported as the object of study. System to retrieve database such as CNKI, Chinese biomedical literature database, Wanfang databases, and PubMed. Design pressure ulcer processing ability questionnaire, which is based on consultation of clinical nursing specialist.to analyze the ability of pressure ulcer treatment of nurse.Through the comparison of the questionnaire survey report, before and after the implementation of "1+3" progressive method. Compared the pressure ulcer assessment processing questionnaire scores of each dimension, To clarify the effect of "1+3" progressive method on improving the treatment effect of pressure ulcer in clinic.Results1. The problems in the assessment of pressure ulcer mainly focus on the stage and basis of pressure ulcer, color description, measurement method, dressing selection, posture transformation and placement and so on.2. The treatment ability of pressure ulcers of nurses were significantly improved, after "1+3" progressive method.(P< 0.05).3. Compared with the data before and after "1+3" progressive method, there was statistical significance in the clinical outcome of pressure ulcers.(P< 0.05).Conclusion"1+3" progressive method has a significant role in improving the ability of pressure ulcer treatment of nurses, which can be popularized and used.
