Licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.), alias for the beautiful grass, grass powder, sweet grass, is a perennial herbaceous plant of legume genus Glycyrrhiza, mainly in the roots and rhizomes of medicinal parts, is a kind of tonic herbs. The main chemical composition of grass has two kinds: one kind is licorice saponins with glycyrrhizic acid is the representative; two category is the licorice flavonoids in licorice as the representative of the. This year, many studies on licorice extract glycyrrhizic acid, found to have good effect in the regulation of the immune system and anti-virus, but for liquiritin (C21H22O9) research is rare, the unified standard liquiritin in production not to follow, so this experiment on glycyrrhizin (C21H22O9) were studied in action pharmacological and quality standards, and provide scientific basis for new drugs in treatment of myocardial ischemia with liquiritin as the raw material of the R & D and production; at the same time, because the present market of licorice quality uneven, some good and some bad, therefore this experiment also discussed the fingerprint technology to control the quality of medicinal licorice, increase reliability in terms of quality control of Radix glycyrrhizae. This experiment mainly through the HPLC method to establish a method for determination of the content of licorice, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Pharmacopoeia, studied shape, identification, examination and destructive test of glycyrrhizin, liquiritin quality standards; at the same time, the three batch of pilot liquiritin raw material samples in clinical trials with the packing condition, were the inspection according to drug quality standard draft and the drafting instructions, long-term stability of liquiritin; the experiment selected from 10 different areas of licorice, licorice fingerprint was studied by HPLC method, at the same time to select and examine the other law of chromatographic conditions. Results: the development of liquiritin quality standard, precision, stability, reproducibility and recovery rate of the experimental results of RSD< 2% methodology, description of liquiritin is built using HPLC method determination method is simple, accurate, rapid, sensitive, quality inspection for liquiritin, referring to the experimental USP impurity inspection method, results the tentative liquiritin loss on drying residue on ignition are not greater than 6% and 1%, determination of related substances were not more than 2%, heavy metals and arsenic salt and pharmacopoeia 2010 a consistent, liquiritin sample content of not less than 98%, forced break that bad experiment, liquiritin in acid, heat, oxidation and glare conditions stability, should not be placed in alkaline condition for a long time; liquiritin at room temperature, accelerated stability and the factors that affect the experimental results show that:the effects of weight loss on drying, heavy metals, arsenic salt and other projects are in line with the requirements, and the physicochemical properties do not change; licorice fingerprint reflect the quality of information medicine was established by using the HPLC method, get 14 common peak, through the methodology study, precision, reproducibility and stability results show that common peak relative retention time and relative peak area Product RSD were less than 3% and the similarities were greater than 0.9, indicating that HPLC method can be used for quality evaluation of Radix Glycyrrhizae and Radix Glycyrrhizae, the ten batch of relative peak area and relative retention time to determine the standard fingerprint of the relative retention time and relative peak area of the allowable range, the ten batch of Gan herbal medicine materials and reference fingerprint, similarity is greater than 0.9% that similarity, medicinal licorice from different areas better.
