| Anoectochilus roxburghii belongs to the genus Anoectochilus (Orchidaceae) which contains more than 40 species and is widespread in the Asia. It mainly distributes in Fujian. Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Yunnan and Taiwan etc in China. Anoectochilus roxburghii has been used as Chinese folk medicine for the treatment of febrifugation. detoxification, cardiotonic, diuresis, antiphlogosis, analgesia and hypertension without side effects. Anoectochilus roxburghii is overcritical to its growth environment, and has high medicinal value for development and utilization. In recent years, the natural sources of A. formosanus are becoming exhausted because of excessive excavation.Limonium aureum (L.) Hill, belongs to Limonium Mill. (Plumbaginaceae). It is a perennial herb which is widespread in the desert, Gansu Corridor and north China. It is one of the few wild flower and excellent wild plant-resource in arid desert area. Limonium aureum (L.) Hill, is also a Chinese herb, having hemostatic and henatinic effects, actiinflammation, hepatoprotection, anti-cancer and anti-virus actions. This thesis studies on the phytochemical investigation of Anoectochilus roxburghii collected from Fujian and Limonium aureum (L.) Hill, from Gansu Province. Twenty-six compounds have been isolated by silica gel column chromatography (CC), preparative thin layer chromatography (TLC) and recrystallization etc. The structures of twenty compounds have been elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods:UV, IR. HR-ESI-MS. ESI-MS. EI-MS,1HNMR,13CNMR,2D NMR, and the measurement of physical constants including boiling point and optical rotation.Among these twenty-six compounds, eighteen compounds were isolated from the butanol extraction of Anoectochilus roxburghii. Fourteen compounds including two new glycosides have been identified. Other identified compounds are flavones and aromatic hydrocarbons. Eight compounds were isolated from the chloroform and 1-Butanol extractions of Limonium aureum (L.) Hill. Six compounds have been identified, among them, two alkaloids and one coumarin were isolated from Limonium aureum (L.) Hill for the first time. Other three compounds were identified as one flavone and two sterols:β-daucosterol and β-sitosterol. |
