Objective:This research is aimed at studying the clinical curative effect and the different clinical curative effects among two types of outlet obstruction constipation (OOC) treated by needling the points of Zhongliao(BL33) and Xialiao(BL34), looking for a safe and effective method for the treatment of the OOC.Methods:According to the Roman Ⅲ standard, incorporated 87 cases of patients with outlet obstruction constipation treated in Pelvic Cavity Center which is a branch of Anorectal Department of Nanjing City Hospital of TCM from October in 2014 to September in 2015. Using the method of deep- needling of bilateral Zhongliao (BL33) and Xialiao (BL34), we connect electro-acupuncture to Zhongliao(BL33) and Xialiao(BL34) of both sides after the needling sensation radiation to the anus, density wave, the frequency is 2/15Hz.once a day, the time of retention is 30min, treatment for 2 weeks. After the collection of patients, we clear the type of outlet obstruction constipation according to the specialized examination results, grasp the basic medical history and mental state of patients, and fill in bowel movements daily diary, observe the improvement of main symptoms of patients with different types of outlet obstruction constipation and the quality of life after treatment. We also observe the the kinetic changes of the anorectum before and after.Results:1. The comparison of the mainly positive symptoms’scores and the total scores of PAC-QOL between before and after treatment of all patients have statistical difference (P<0.01). There is no statistically difference in the scores of "abdominal pain" between before and after treatment in unrelaxed pelvic floor syndrome constipation (P>0.05).2. There are statistically differences in improving the scores of "Time" between the two subtypes patients (P<0.05). There are statistically differences in improving the scores of "The Belly Feeling Of Anus" between the two subtypes patients (P<0.01).3. There is no statistically difference in the effect of outlet obstruction constipation between different sex, course, primary anorectal manomet and usage of stimulant laxatives patients (P>0.05). There are statistically differences in the effect of outlet obstruction constipation between different age patients (P<0.01).4. There is no statistically difference in "Anal Canal Rest Pressure", "Anal Maximal Contraction Pressure", "The rectum initial threshold", "Rectal defecation threshold", "Rectal maximum tolerance" and "Defecation pressure"between before and after treatment (P>0.05).Conclusions:1. Needling the points of Zhongliao and Xialiao has good effect in improving "Abnormal Effort", "Frequency", "Time", "Shape of Defecation", "Endless Defecating Feeling", "The Belly Feeling of Anus", "Abdominal Pain" and "Abdominal Distension" for relaxed pelvic floor syndrome constipation. Needling the points of Zhongliao and Xialiao has same effect for unrelaxed pelvic floor syndrome constipation except "Abdominal Pain".2. Needling the points of Zhongliao and Xialiao is more effective in improving "Time" for unrelaxed pelvic floor syndrome constipation than relaxed pelvic floor syndrome constipation. Needling the points of Zhongliao and Xialiao is more effective in improving "The Belly Feeling of Anus" for relaxed pelvic floor syndrome constipation than unrelaxed pelvic floor syndrome constipation.3. The curative effect of outlet obstruction constipation by the treatment of needling the points of Zhongliao and Xialiao has no correlation with sex, course, primary anorectal manomet and usage of stimulant laxatives but is correlated with the age of the patients.4. Needling the points of Zhongliao and Xialiao has no effect in improving "Anal Canal Rest Pressure", "Anal Maximal Contraction Pressure", "The rectum initial threshold", "Rectal defecation threshold", "Rectal maximum tolerance" and "Defecation pressure".
