ObjectivesTo observe the characteristics of Chinese medicine constitution of patients with coronary heart disease(CHD) and hyperuricemia, and preliminary discuss the correlation between coronary artery disease and uric acid level via coronary arteriography(CAG),in order to provide objective bases for the syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinses medicine of the patients with CHD and hyperuricemia, as well as provide clinical instructions for the formulation of the diagnosis and treatment scheme and the revascularization scheme for the patients.MethodsCollected 90 patients of CHD and hyperuricemia confirmed by CAG, which were from the cardiology department of Guangdong Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine during Jan 2015 to Jan 2016. Judkin’s method of CAG was used, and Gensini’s score standard was used to assess the Coronary artery lesion severity. The diagnosis standard of hyperuricemia was based on Chinses expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of asymptomatic hyperuricemia combined with cardiovascular diastase in 2009. While the evaluation of TCM constitution was based on the questionnaire of The criteria of TCM Constitution Classification issued by China Association of Chinese Medicine in 2009.Results1. In this study, there are 40cases(44%) with simplex constitution, and 50(56%)cases with composite constitution. The top six constitutions are Qi-deficient and Phlegm-dampness constitution, Qi-deficient constitution, Phlegm-dampness constitution, Stagnant Blood constitution, Qi-deficient and damp-heat constitution, Qi-deficient and Stagnant Blood constitution.2. The prevalence of hyperuricemia of male is higher than that of female, and the level of uric acid is significantly higher than that of female. In the age distribution, the highest level of uric acid is under 50 years old, followed by 60-69 years old, more than 80 years old,70-79 years old, and the lowest level of uric acid is 50-59 years old.3. The uric acid level of the patients with composite constitution is significantly higher than that of the patients with simplex constitution. While there is no significant difference in the group of simplex constitution, as well as the group of composite constitution. In this study the patients with Qi deficiency and phlegm dampness have the highest level of uric acid, followed by Qi-deficient and damp-heat constitution, Qi-deficient and Stagnant Blood constitution.4. For the affected blood vessel, both men and women, all with three lesions and single lesion more, but the pathologic changes of coronary artery of male patients are mainly due to the triple vessel lesion, while female patients are mainly due to Single-vessel. There is no significant difference between male and female about the scores of Gensini. For the number of anomalous vessels, there is significant difference between the age distributions, the pathologic changes of coronary artery of the patiens who are 60-69 years old are more than others, which suggests that age is one of the risk factors for coronary heart disease (CHD). There is a positive correlation between the level of uric acid and the Gensini points of coronary artery lesion, which can be reckoned by the regression equations of Y=0.194x-71.105.5. There is correlation between the TCM constitutions and the pathologic change of coronary artery. The triple vessel lesions are mainly in the patiens with compositie constitution, and the single vessel lesion are mainly in the patients with simplex constitution. For the Gensini’s score, the score of the compositie constitution is higher than that of the simplex constitution, which is of significant difference. In addition, the most common constitution is Qi deficiency and phlegm dampness, which has the highest Gensini points.Conclusion1. In this study, The top six constitutions are Qi-deficient and Phlegm-dampness constitution,Qi-deficient constitution, Phlegm-dampness constitution, Stagnant Blood constitution,Qi-deficient and damp-heat constitution, Qi-deficient and Stagnant Blood constitution.2. The patients of composite constitution have higher level of uric acid than the ones of simplex constitution, and there is correlation between the level of uric acid and the sexuality, as well as the age.3. The affected blood vessels have no relationship with the sexuality, but is related to the age. With the increase of the uric acid level, the pathologic changes of coronary artery show a trend of exacerbation.4. There is correlation between the constitutions of traditional Chinese medicine and the pathologic change of coronary artery, and the patients of composite constitution are more serious than the ones of simplex constitution.
