A Clinical Retrospective Study:Treatment Of Degenerative Knee Cartilage Injury With Microfracture Under Arthroscopy

Objective:To discuss the differences of the effect between microfracture and chondroplasty in the early stage after repairing degenerative knee articular cartilage injury.Methods:From January 2014 to December 2015,139 articular cartilage injury patients were selected on the basis of cases inclusion criteria. All the patients were divided into 2 groups randomly:Microfracture Group and Chondroplasty Group. Assessment before operation and follow-up:range of motion(ROM), Patellofemoral joint grinding test, Floating patella test. Curative effect evaluation:assessed by Lysholm knee functional score standard and HSS knee functional score standard.Results:All the patients are followed up. After 1 month,3 months,6 months, two groups of postoperative Lysholm score and HSS score are both higher than those before operation; the Lysholm score and HSS score of Microfracture Group are higher than those of Chondroplasty Group, quantity of patients with Patellofemoral joint grinding test and Floating patella test positive, and ROM less than 90 degrees are less than those of Chondroplasty. The difference before and after operation in each group is of remarkable statistical significance (p<0.05). Differences in the preoperative data between two groups no statistical significance (p>0.05). Differences of two groups in every data postoperative is of remarkable statistical significance (p<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both Microfracture and Chondroplasty under arthroscopy have relatively satisfactory curative effect treating articular cartilage injury.2. To compare with Chondroplasty, Microfracture has better curative effect.
