Objective:The purpose of the present study was to explore the correlation between the contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) and acoustic radiation force impulse (ARFI) characteristics of breast cancers and the expression of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2).Methods:A total of 108 patients with correctly diagnosed breast cancer were investigated.HER-2 expression of the tumor was measured by immunohistochemistry after operation. The relationships with the expression of HER-2 were analyzed using enhancement features and time intensity curves(TIC) of CEUS, virtual tough imaging (VTI) and virtual tough quantification(VTQ) technology of ARFI, respectively.Results:(1) The difference of CEUS’s contrast media distribution, perforating branch blood flow, over range and perfusion defects between HER-2 negative group and HER-2 positive group has statistical significant (P<0.05) The difference of TIC curve’s peak time(PT),rising slope(K) and area under curve(AUC) between HER-2 negative group and HER-2 positive group has statistical significant (p<0.05). (2) The difference of VTQ performance between HER-2 negative group and HER-2 positive group has statistical significance (p<0.05).(3)The difference in comparison of VTI image characteristics, enhancement levels of contrast media and Peak intensity(PI) among different HER-2 expression groups has no statistical significance (p>0.05)Conclusion:CEUS and ARFI were related to the expression of HER-2 in breast cancer in some extent. mainly shown in perfusion defects, perforating branch blood flow, peak time, rising slope, VTQ et al. |
