Objective This study retrospectively analyzed the clinicopathologic features of NSCLC patients to identify the prognostic factors, improve its survival time. Methods We studied 289 surgical NSCLC patients between June 2012 through December 2014. We determined the histology, vessle invasion, tumor cell grade of differentiation, stage T, stage N, stage TNM, pathologic type, pleural invasion, postoperative adjuvant therapy. The overall survival was analyzed using the Kaplan-Meier method, log-rank test, and the Cox proportional hazards analysis. Results A total of 289 NSCLC patients included in this study. Median survival time is 18.0 month. Among these patients,179 patients are male, and 110 patients are female.117 cases are located on left side, and 172 cases are located on right side. The 6,12,24,36 months overall survival rate were 94%,87%,73%,67%. Vessel invasion (p=0.001), tumor cell grade of differentiation (p=0.006), stage T (p=0.000), stage N(p=0.000), stage TNM (p=0.000) and adjuvant therapy (p=0.000) were associated with longer survival. On multivariate analysis, vessel invasion, stage T, stage N, stage TNM and adjuvant therapy were found to be independent predictive factors for NSCLC.Conclusions Vessel invasion, stage T, stage N, stage TNM and adjuvant therapy were independent predictive factors for NSCLC.Vessel invasion is associated with tumor cell grade of differentiation and lymph node involvement.
